Turning Up The Heat!

Grey clouds wrap their way around the mountain, hiding the parched earth and bringing with them a sense of relief.
The breeze is cooler and as it blows in upon me, I welcome the touch of cold that stokes my bare back.
I have found myself fantasizing about the cold of late, of ice that touches my body and makes me quiver .
Oh the heat, how it brings me out of my shell.
Dreaming of dancing naked in the rain, waking up with the taste of raindrops on my tongue.

The sun has now dropped behind the mountain and now the land has an orange tinge about it. As though a fire looms in the distance and threatens to engulf us all.
But there is no fire, no smoke, only the promise of a change that is about to come. The last few days the temperature has slowly began to decrease and the nights have become gloriously cooler.

It is funny how we seem to always chase what we do not have, wanting and longing for the cold on those hot sticky nights. Yet those nights are a cleansing, we are in fact preparing ourselves for what has to come next. To let all of our desires and fantasies take shape, so that we can be led by our passion, by our fire.

sensual
hypnotic
to move as one.

unleashing all hidden desires
being left to
devour
that which transpires.

Drunk with passion
swerving to the rhythm of my fire
curving into perfection
till freedom is acquired.

The heat driving one on, teasing and taunting us with all these hidden desires. The heat which allows nothing to remain within. Now is the time to let go, to allow our bodies to move to the natural rhythm that flows through us all. To be passionate and create, to explore and insinuate. To be wild!

This is definitely not more lust than love! It is the dance invoking love you decribe so luxuriously above. It knows about the winter that must push us back within, but celebrates the opportunity to unfold in nature's sanctuary. It's miserably cold in my part of Europe, for an August, and as a heat lover (dont'care how flushed I get) I devoured your piece greedily. Ok a bit of appetite there, after all....
