It's only been so long (photo-poetry)

I haven't touched you in a long time
It feels as if I have betrayed you
Only I haven't
I just didn't have the time
The urge
The peace of mind to look for you

I always knew where to find you
I always tried to look away
Procrastinate
Or simply find other things to keep me occupied
'Life' I called it
'Life' and things that 'needed-be-done'

And days went by
They turned to weeks
Sometimes time doesn't matter
You take a break but then
You come back to see nothing has changed
Nothing is moved
Everything is where you'd left them

And so were you
A little dusty
A bit rusty
My fingers slide across your skin
My tongue now clicks and sighs
I touch you and it's you
And it's me
The real me
My organised disorganised self
Becomes me
Through you

Some love affairs can never die
Some sparks keep burning among ashes
Some demons can never be
Expelled

Yeah, I doubt you can figure out what I am talking about, but basically it's just a few lines written for my long unwillingness to get on my computer and start "producing seemingly meaningless word sequences filled with deeper hidden meanings" (how cool did that just sound!). I just feel a little numb but I do want to start writing again. Now I only need some cool music tracks to get high on and write a story when I find the time. Let's see how this will go...
