A Lonely Leaf Wants to Kiss a Ship
A lonely leaf on the shore stuck
wants to kiss a ship
where kisses are forbidden
waiting in the shore, held down
a passenger picks it up
like life goes up and down
it moves inside his hands
like the waves, where is home? where is home?
no place for lonely souls
like the shape of the heart
everyone sees the truth but no words to describe it
like the big lines, little lines are lost
in the ocean
no one hears the unspoken cries, a pretense
one day a time comes to have a warm embrace
a dream realized then destroyed
with cold hard facts
a singer sings sad songs but is happy
a dancer moves its body only for show
a rock hits the head
when thinking about the hidden truth
under the blazing sun
stare, stare till you are blind
In blindness walk
walk in what is called "life"
filled with light
in the moment
singing and dancing behind the fire blazing
a happy home for drying a single leaf
shaped like a heart, forgotten in a book
in a shelf in a dusty library, no one sees
where is it? where is it?
forgotten
dried but happy with good memories
no longer by itself stuck
now in between the pages of a book
someone's love story,
a piece of nature, a token of love
no trace of actual emotions
a process, a process like the waves
