A Short Poem

How do you find community
When you are already broken
And in need of support?
You can’t go out and make friends
When you are sick
When you are impoverished
When you are crushed
The system is designed
To separate us
So that it can break us
Before we even realize we’re alone
We can’t fight back
If we’re isolated shells of people
And no amount of
Long baths and yoga
Can fill our inner voids.

100% yes to this. I hope writing helps relieve a tiny bit of the pain Phe <3 Love you forever. Wish I could show you more, as in giving you a HUGE REAL Hug...and chill with you in your balcony food forest in the sky... and... and !! Head boops!!

I think community is more about feelings and emotions be it positive or negative - something about gravitating towards each other.
