The Bright Blue Skies

A glow in the eyes,
That needs to be fanned to grow stronger,
Brighter,
To last the same for always.

By the garden,
Walking by on this cold dark night,
Spotted a yellow flower,
That had a lingering fragrance,
Intoxicating,
Exhilarating,
To the senses and to the heart.
