Fighting the darkness

A warrior of the night,
Fighting the darkness,
That seeps through every opportunity,
Into the life of the naive.

As the shadows creep on the graves,
From the abode below,
Do they rise to claim power,
From the ones that know none the better.

Crossing the barrier,
The warrior steps into the shadows,
Blazing red fire,
As he lays them down for their final rest.
