A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MAN. (An Original Poetry)

Scurrying and hurrying,
like moles to their holes,
beads of perspiration.
descending like angels.
crowned with diverse intentions
many mind, multiple worries
our lives alert!
waiting for the umpire's whistle
to sound our readiness.

The cock's crows
signals our haste,
to tend to the belly
darting and delaying
to Kindle our wares
as we beacon like hawks
to legs coming and going!
dragging on an on
till dusk begins to birth.

Again and again,
we go again!
life's a marathon
without loitering or lolling
many are scampering on lanes,
thwarting, ducking and dodging.
the sunset rays
and the bellowing rain
coming down
in cold or freeze
we awake to proceed anew

Tomorrow,
a reservoir shall emerge
where strength is found!
for the young ones
must munch,
from our toils
so seeking we must!
