Torregrosa, es un libro que he empezado a leer, nos da un recorrido por de expresión del amor en cada una de las épocas, es especial para los que nos gusta la poesia, para aquellos quienes se están formando, recoge los poemas más lindo y apasionados de cada época y junto a cada uno de ellos un análisis de lo que quizo expresar el poeta.

Otero and JR Torregrosa, is a book that I have begun to read, it gives us a tour of the expression of love in each of the times, it is special for those of us who like poetry, for those who are training, collect the most beautiful and passionate poems of each time and together with each one of them an analysis of what the poet wanted to express.

Ir y quedarse, y con quedar partirse,
partir sin alma, e ir con alma ajena,
oír la dulce voz de una sirena
y no poder del árbol desasirse; 1
arder como la vela y consumirse
haciendo torres sobre la tierna arena; 2
caer de un cielo, y ser demonio en pena,
y de serlo jamás arrepentirse; 3
hablar entre las mudas soledades,
pedir prestada, sobre fe, paciencia,
y lo que es temporal llamar eterno;
creer sospechas y negar verdades,
es lo que llaman en el mundo ausencia,
fuego en el alma y en la vida infierno.
Go and stay, and with staying,
depart without a soul, and go with another's soul,
hear the sweet voice of a mermaid
and not being able to detach the tree; 1
burn like a candle and burn out
making towers on the tender sand; 2

Esta época se caracteriza por el uso de paradojas.
1 El autor hace referencia a un episodio de la Odisea, donde ülises, se hace atar al mástil (árbol) de su barco para no sucumbir ante el canto de las sirenas, cosa que traeria como consecuencia su muerte y la de los navegantes.
This era is characterized by the use of paradoxes.
1 The author refers to an episode in the Odyssey, where Ulysses has himself tied to the mast (tree) of his ship so as not to succumb to the sirens' song, which would result in his death and that of the navigators.
2 Una expresión muy conocida, hacer castillos en el aire, es decir hacernos de ilusiones sobre suelo frágil.
2 A well-known expression, to make castles in the air, that is to say, to make illusions on fragile soil.
3 Recordemos la batalla biblica entre el ángel que se reveló y fue derrotado y expulsado del cielo a la tierra.
3 Let us remember the biblical battle between the angel who revealed himself and was defeated and expelled from heaven to earth.
