You see them
As they move quietly towards you
They walk like shadows of the dead
Stepping on skulls of wasted souls

They are invisible
Yet you see them
Slithering like snakes
In search of what to swallow

You hear them
Their silent footsteps won't stop
Echoing in you ears
Like a blind boy beating the drum

They mumble to themselves
Yet you hear them
You hide and listen to their plans of doom
Shivering in the cold they

You smell them
Their scent of destruction
Almost as fresh as the morning air
Each different but still same

The raging wind scatters it
Yet you smell them
Their overpowering stench
So metallic you can taste it

I saw this image flying around on twitter and it inspired something. So here I am, writing the things that came to head by just looking at it. Not sure who the original owner is.
