Take me home...

These are two separate pieces (music and poetry) that I would like to be viewed together in order to see what kind of effect can be produced. Time...Life to me nowadays in general is a very abstract idea...

Monumental Shift

This instrumental piece is an experimental sound project that combines my classical guitar freestyle with added string synths and official NASA space sounds for ambiance. There are added voices from a recorded conversation

"It's all spacedust...Time...."

"Does Time exist?"

"There's a timeline..."

Mission

I never wish to fall
Into another delusion
That blinds me from the Truth
Even if its corrosive nature
Depletes me dry.
I would rather know
Than find my hands empty
Thinking I was holding a diamond.

What I see before me
Is a power I've never felt before -
A heightened awareness that comes
As a double edged blade
Willing to strike any including
Myself
So I must heed the signs
But not allow my forced sight
To lead the way.

If this new intuition can be trusted
I wish to lean into it
But I understand it may be unsteady.
If my strength in patience
Has taught me anything
It is that the best is worth waiting for
Even if it's yourself.

There is a mission I was set out to complete
But so much has been lost trying to
recover the shards
I don't know if it was always this way
Or if we broke a hidden system
That we must now amend

But I feel I am searching...
And to admit what for
Is like a blood-needy creature
Exposing themselves to the Sun.
I don't want to come undone
By admitting what's needed most
For in this confession
It bleeds my Ego
To feel like a lonesome child
All the while aware
I can survive on my own
But knowing I was never meant to
