We're All Human Beings - An Original Poem

You say that I am black
And I say that you're white.
You say that my hairs are spiral and stubborn
And I say that your hairs are straight and docile
You say that I have black eyes
And I say that you have blue eyes.
You say that I talk through my mouth
And I say that you talk through your nostrils.
You say that I cannot survive snow
And I say that you cannot survive the scorching sun
But who will tell us
That we all bleed red?
Who will tell us
That we all poo yellow?
Who will tell us
That we are all human beings?

The poem was well arrange, and the message is clear enough. No matter your race, color, tribe, nation. One God created us.

Just the other day, I said something similar to my young Chinese student (to whom I'm teaching English). He's a smart and sensible little kid.

We were discussing different countries and different peoples. We agreed that borders, nationalities, age, various ethnic backgrounds, and even different languages were insignificant compared to the bonds which unite us all as human beings.

We are one, in spirit and in truth.

Indeed we are one in truth and in spirit because we are all human beings. It is one reason for which all races can mate and produce offsprings - shows that we are 100% humans after all. Glad to know that your little kid has learnt the truth at such a tender age. It should help him while journeying through life. Thanks for your comment.
