One of the many childhood games that is quite entertaining is playing kites.

Thin paper with bone made of thin bamboo tied to this thread will hover in the air with a long, twisted tail.

This fun activity begins after returning from school until dusk usually happens every day without stopping when the season arrives.

When playing a kite, there are at least some unique and exciting things that are hard to forget because they contain elements of entertainment.

Aside from being entertainment, playing kites also gives a lot of good messages about the importance of maintaining enthusiasm and unyielding nature.

The following is a unique thing when playing kites that you should remember as childhood entertainment that is very exciting.

  1. Someone has to stretch the kite to fly it

At the beginning of playing kites, there must be good cooperation between the two children who follow the game. The first child usually holds the string at one end, while the second child holds the kite at the other end.

When he will raise the kite in the air, the second child will spread the kite's width within the specified distance. When the position of the kite is right, then the kite is ready to be pulled up.

The ability to push thread when playing a kite must be possessed by every child who plays.

  1. The term 'take' among children

When playing kites, children usually memorize the term 'Take'. Taking yourself is part of the excitement of waiting for a kite that is usually released from the string.

The 'Take' activity is usually carried out in groups according to the area where the kite being targeted will be the 'Take' goal. Collaboration in 'Taking the fun is usually the determinant of whether or not the kite is desired.

  1. Creative kids can make their own kites

Even though kites are sold in stalls at affordable prices, there will always be creative children who make their own kites. If the kites sold in stalls have uniform and simple shapes and motives, then kites that are made on their own will usually look more beautiful and varied.

From childhood, children are used to learning to be creative in various things, including when playing kites. Did you ever make it when you were little?

  1. The kite collides with each other in the air

The most exciting thing when playing a kite is when the kite collides with each other. Even though the main purpose of playing the kite is to only be able to fly and twist in the air, there will be kites that will accidentally approach you.

Not just approaching, other kites will usually approach and without command directly compete even though kept away by their respective owners.

Although the kites clashed with each other, the children of the kite owners did not participate in any argument and instead motivated each other.

  1. Because of frequent heat, hair usually becomes reddish

Although not of European descent, children in Aceh and also in Indonesia usually have slightly reddish hair at the ends. This is not without reason, because children who play kites will play in a large field where the sun is blazing.

Radiating sunlight will usually make children's hair look reddish.

  1. Excited when chasing a broken kite

The most exciting moment among the other moments when playing a kite is of course when chasing a broken kite. In groups, children will usually run in groups in the direction where the kite is pointing. At this moment, children have learned about the meaning of fair competition.

Why is competition healthy? Because when one of the children gets a kite, the other children will accept it gracefully and have no intention of taking it in an uncivilized manner.

  1. Share a broken kite with another child who didn't get it

Well, this is something that should be copied from children about the importance of sharing. There are children who are good at getting kites to break up, but there are also some who do not have these skills.

Kites that have been obtained will usually be slung on the chest with a kite on the back. Shortly after the game is over, the children who get the most kites will distribute the kites to other children. Such a small child can already take lessons about the 'beauty of sharing'.

Playing a kite teaches kids about the spirit of never giving up and competing healthily with others. Even though it is a game, the children of ancient times did not forget the obligation to learn because this activity was carried out after school.
