@pifc
Week 96 - Pay It Forward Curation Contest

This week I'd like to highlight two posts, one by @davidke20 posted in the Build-It tribe for Do-It-Yourself, and the other blog by @conradsuperb related to food posted in the JAHM Tribe.

Post 1
In this post by @davidke20, Air conditioner DIY service and clean up walk through, he is attempting the task of cleaning his car's cabin air filter.

Image Source on Owner's Post

Most individuals wouldn't attempt this procedure on their own car. However, @davidke20 states it's fairly easy.

In fact, he provides a video he prepared in 3Speak to show the reader how he accomplished it.

Next, he provides images of the steps he takes. I would never attempt this procedure myself, even after viewing the video and reading the procedures. I normally leave all work to completed on my car to the dealership. I do realize this can be expensive for a service that looks and sounds simple to complete.

I know that you pay for knowledge and labor of an experienced mechanic when you require assistance with fixing your car. But if you are inclined to tackle a job such as this and do it yourself, or you're knowledgeable about vehicles parts and can follow instructions easily, then this procedure may be something you'd be willing to tackle.

In one of the pictures @davidke20 provides, you can readily see the extent to which a cabin air filter can become blocked over time with various types of debris.

If you'd like to undertake a DIY project, then I recommend you stop by and visit @davidke20's post, Air conditioner DIY service and clean up walk through, so you can view his indepth video and follow his step-by-step instructions to change a cabin air filter.

Post 2
In @conradsuperb's post, Coletta's Restaurant Review: Negril, Jamaica, he gives us a tour of a small, family-owned business in Negril, Jamaica. He feels that it's important to promote Jamaican businesses on ReggaeSteem because it offers an advertising and marketing incentive for them. He also feels that Jamaican businesses located in Negril can benefit in the future from joining ReggaeSteem themselves so they can advertise their businesses while also marketing their products and services.

The business that @conradsuperb wishes to highlight is a small one named Coletta's Restaurant. @conradsuperb explains that the restaurant was started by the current owners' father. Upon passing, the children continued the business.

The restarant is located about 200 meters or so down Norman Manley Blvd, from the Rondel, toward the town center. The daughters, known locally as the "sisters", kept their father's traditional Jamaican recipes and added other dishes. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A good point that @conradsuperb makes about Collette's is that they only have one menu, with the local price. Any customer visiting won't be stuck paying the tourist prices.

According to @conradsuperb, Collette's has become one of his favorite local eateries and quite popular with tourists, appearing in his feed regularly. He states the food is fresh and cooked like you remember Grandma's home cookin' back home, but Jamaican style. He adds that Collette's sports a diverse array of foods from traditional Jamaican to western-style dishes.

I think this is sound entrepreneurship for any small or medium-sized business in order to reach a worldwide audience. @conradsuperb explains further that the JAHM earned through Reggaesteem could be redeemed for marketing services, helping small businesses grow their customer base due to the expanding interest in travel destinations in the Caribbean.

If you're planning to travel to Negril, Jamaica, or would just like to learn how ReggaeSteem can benefit your small business, I recommend you stop by and view @conradsuperb's post, Coletta's Restaurant Review: Negril, Jamaica. This small, family-owned restaurant seems to be growing in popularity.

Thanks,
@justclickindiva

Happy rest of the week everyone with whatever your endeavors.

Hi @davidke20 You're welcome. I have happy to curate your post. It was a great tutorial. Don't think I'm going to try it though. Will leave that to to more knowledgeable individuals. But I can say I did learn something about car filters from viewing your blog. And that is a plus for me. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome, thanks so much for sharing. One thing beyond reviewing businesses is others sharing work outside of reggaesteem, bringing more eyes to these sorts of posts and ideas to better the future of blockchain related projects built on STEEM .

Thanks for sharing, appreciate this :-)
