Getting a Zoom Lens

This is an image with a Zoom Lens.

Distance with Max Zoom

It's relatively hard to catch these bees, but at least I had more than 90mm focal length. Even if there's a set of rules that everyone tells me to follow, I keep experimenting. I currently don't own the correct prime lens, converters and possible filters to make good macro photography. Until I do, I will keep trying new stuff. I have combos of adapters, converting glass, step up rings, converters and filters that make photographers burst out laughing when they see it. Although I do have my reasons for being so adventurous. If anyone wants to give me a good input on macrophotography, please share your thoughts in the comments. I don't know anything!

Floral Scents

Lately I try to get out of the office whenever I can. When the weather calls, it's gravitates me to the exterior sounds of the birds and winds in the leafs. While trying to catch some bees, I just follow my nose, that feels so attracted to floral scents. Like Jerry (from Tom & Jerry when he smells cheese). I believe to have the opposite of rhinitis (hay fever). In my previous post Macrosperiments 2 I tried a 50mm prime lens with a +10 macro filter and another combo. It was honestly just another macro experiment. 😊 /Macrosperiment (Not to confuse with spearmint)

Old Russian Mr. Dusty

Dirty and hazy, I just love my two Russian Kiev Pentacon lenses. On one of them the aperture is forever fixed and stuck at f/22. Since it's a 90mm Prime Lens, I chose it because it was the highest focal length for another macrosperiment. Yes, even if I clean it and it were to be super crisp, I will use that name for that old Pentacon with the stuck aperture .
'Mr. Dusty' . Here's a link to my very first Steemit Post:

I also film as I use several cameras and lenses. My previous Video post is a time lapse on @dtube with original music:

Of course I would like to give Thanks to @yabapmatt for keychain as well. Transcending language, I feel Steemit might be a great platform for them as well. Please NOTE that this has nothing to do with the conventionally known negative and often violent, sexist and unintelligent part of the hip hop culture. Another environmentalist genius called @oikoses or @fungalist also fits right in here. Thanks to the Steem Engine Team @ethandsmith, @HopeHuggs, @catweasel, @enchantedspirit, and @apanamamama. You guys are awesome, I used it for the first time a few days ago and had no idea. Everything is still new to me. I haven't even made my @introduceyourself post yet. That are some really nice bee pictures ^^ .. I am a big fan of bees and were lucky to capture some nice ones about two weeks ago .. you can look it up here

https://steemit.com/nature/@adalger/if-the-bee-disappeared-off-the-surface-of-the-globe-then-man-would-have-only-four-years-of-life-left-no-more-bees-no-more

I actually do not know much about phogography but really enjoy to take some pictures with my samsung a5, which is far away from professional photo equiptment ..

So in my opinion and experimenting, also it might take several tries, is far more worth than equipment in macrophotography .. just go on like this and never stop to experiment around ! .. I am looking forward to more nice pictures from you ;)

@adalger thank you so much for your kind comment. I just checked out your post. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing. A friend of mine does amazing pictures with her iphone and magnetic lenses. They also sell these clip on macro lenses for phones. Last year i took my best, most heavy allrounder lens for landscapes and buildings and my iphone pictures came out much better. I really only enjoy the prime lenses i have and that mostly for portrait photography. Some of them very heavy, one should better plan which lenses to use. I was blown by the huawei phones. I hope they will make a new operating system with blockchain and dapps!
