Unternberg Alm - Trip in the German Mountains

Beautiful Landscape full of Nature

I have to say celebrating birthday without party, beer, cake and the usual stuff is refreshing - it might happen in a month again! Even more refreshing is to walk up mountains or hills with younger people. Last year we had a tough trip for my old body but was refreshing too. As you might have seen we spent a day at Rauschberg already plus another half day trip which I will cover soon. Why do I post this?

• First it is Tree Tuesday
• Second - I see my Girls on Sunday again after FOUR (4!) weeks again!

4 weeks that been really hard across all levels, a time where I had the most stressful and painful phase in my entire life, and I had some of that in the years before - not going into detail but currently I do not enjoy what is happening - am fed up my behavious of certain people. Losing my naive thinking these days - BUT I love too see my little one again soon, that will help me and put smile over my face!

Unternberg in Rain

Last year during my birthday we "climbed" the Unternberg - another small hill near Ruhpolding with an elevation of 1,425 m. We decided to use the chairlift / cable car (Sesselbahn in German) to reduce time as we planned to hit a swim paradise later. We made the mistake to underestimate changing weather in such alpine regions and got surprised sitting on the chairlift by constant heavy rain showers. Anyway - we survived and did drink a hot cup of chocolate upstairs in the Unternberg Alm. Nicely renovated tradition made in Bavaria up there.
