The bridge by City Hall

I have shared many shots of the Duck Pond and waterfall by city hall, but not to mane shots of the bridge if you look downstream from the waterfall, and that's what I will focus on for this post

This bridge is the Jefferson bridge and was built in 1934 and rehabilitated in 2003 , it is right beside City Hall on River Street and I love its old-style but especially at this time of year when it is surrounded by warm fall colors, most of the vines on the bridge had fallen away but still some hanging on when I took these shots

Here is a shot showing more of the bridge and if you thought I must have got my feet wet getting the first shot, you can see I didn't need to I was standing on the rocks at the end of the grassy area.

I was on the rocks again for this next shot, which was the first shot I took of the bridge actually that day, my eyes were caught by the leaves inthe water and the warm glow reflected on the water

As I walked around the area, I saw this view from the side of the bridge and thought it would make a shot to share with this post

And this last shot is back on the rocks, just after this shot I did slip and step into the river, and I must say the water was quite a col, would have been a good time to be wearing more waterproof shoes, for the mile walk home my foot was squelching and squeaking lOL
