NYC tallest buildings - Empire State Building

Sorry I have been Pretty slack on here for a week but today I am slipping back into Normality and will be back into my normal routine :)

Vertigo Warning - before I start this is another post where people who suffer from vertigo may want to skip as it has some looking up shots

This is my fifth post in a series of posts about the tallest buildings in NYC,

The first post in this series was Tower One World Trade Center
The second post was Central park Tower

The Third Post was 11 W 57th Street

The Fourth in the series was One Vanderbilt

The Fifth in the series was 432 Park Ave
The Sixth in the series was 30 Hudson Yards
And this post is a very well known building that has been around for a while the Empire State Building

The Empire State Building has a roof height of 1,250 feet (380 m) and stands a total of 1,454 feet (443.2 m) tall, including its antenna, and of course it gets its name from the nickname for New York the Empire State, for 40 years it stood as the worlds tallest building, until the completion of the World Trade Center's North Tower in Lower Manhattan in late-1970

Following the September 11 attacks in 2001, it was again the tallest building in New York City until the new One World Trade Center surpassed it while under construction in April 2012, but as I mentioned it has now been surpassed and is the 7th Tallest buildingin NYC and the 45th tallest inthe world.

It has been featured in more than 250 Movies and TV Shows. and many tourists visit there to go up to the observation decks, which I have done and the views are impressive, and even if you don't go up to the observation deck if your in the city and nearby do pop in and check the lobby it is beautiful and ornate.

This next shot i went with B&W and be warned although some of the other shots may have been vertigo-inducing for some, the last shot is looking straight up and may not be good to see for some people

The first photo where the Empire State Building seems to grow behind that building up to the sky looks so cool, and I do like the last shot, although after looking on it for five minutes I'm feeling a bit !DERANGED ;) lol

very impressive! I once in my life had a dream of me, visiting NYC. I remember only the fact that in my dream, I visited it, and that was all left to me after I got up.

from the shared pics, I am strongly after this one, a great image (could go to the magazine cover, I easily can imagine that).
