Why Fix What Isn't Broken? Oh Wait...

My headlamp did break. I've had it for a few years, there is no obvious signs of damage. I do use it a lot so I'm really not surprised that the constant abuse caught up with it.

So... I spent some time online looking for the perfect replacement...
In the end, I decided to replace the headlamp with the exact same model. I love this headlamp!

It is super bright and works great for lighting up big scenes at night. The second photo below was shot using the headlamp to light up the trees in the foreground.

It's very affordable, I was looking at many headlamps that cost 5 times as much.

It's not the most lightweight headlamp but the bigger battery pack on the back also has a USB port so you can charge things like your phone. It really comes in handy when out backpacking for a couple days and you want to charge up the phone a bit before your hike back out to the car.

Here's a link to the headlamp on Amazon, no I'm not an amazon affiliate or anything like that:

Aspens above Lake Tahoe, the headlamp was used for this shot. I'm sure the replacement will be with me on many upcoming photo adventures...
