Moments of Reflections

I always come out here every night to take photos. You can say this is my 'backyard' as it is only 5 minutes away from my home to walk to the water front.

Being a photographer, I always have a camera on hand to capture the 'moments'. To me, this is a moment of 'quietness and reflection'. We all need this in our life because without these quietness and reflections, our lives are bombarded with the voices of people.

This is the time I filter out men's words.

Let the inner person come out to do some reflection / evaluation of life. Go out and take photos of night scenes with their reflections. In the quietness, we get to see the mistakes and careless moves we made in that day and then you go and correct them the next day. Without these quiet moments of reflections, our lives carry on with continuous mistakes and errors leading us deeper into self-deception though never intended.

Well just some personal thoughts there.

Now to the photograph of this picture.

Art and photography is such a personal thing.

I managed to get a very nice reflection of the highrises but I didn't do very well in getting the reflection of the ship as it is too bright.

I purposely took part of the rail here to give the photo some dimension.

Do you like it with the rail there or not?
