The Porto Mountain Park has an admirable territory. This park allows for the tranquility and relaxation essential to our well-being and is the perfect excuse to escape the hustle and bustle that is so typical of life in big cities.

The total of mountains that make up the park are six Banjas, Flores, Castiçal, Santa Iria, Pias, Santa Justa.

The Porto Mountain Park provides an encounter with riverside, rivers, valleys, mountains and habitats that prove the natural richness of the space.

The vast heritage present in this park has different dimensions, in different areas of relief.

Its geological heritage is remarkable, counting on a very rich history and with a historical path with more than 500 million years. Rocks and fossils, dating from the Paleozoic, are among its most relevant data.

Therefore, its natural that the archaeological heritage of this park allows to obtain important knowledge.
