Deranged Photography Contest - Macro Monday Theme

avatar

I dusted off my camera today and took it along to J Jill, a woman's clothing store, where my wife had to return a top because it smelled like chemicals. I wandered around taking pictures, like this macro shot of necklaces that were "20% off today". I remarked to one of the employees that I was surprised they weren't saying anything about me taking pictures, and she said that if I had asked, they would have said "okay." Before their store was remodeled, she went on to say, teachers used to bring students to the store to photograph the ceiling. I would like to know what that ceiling looked like.

I'm posting this image for the Macro Monday theme in the Deranged Photography Contest curated by @derangedcontests. I'm posting in the amateur tier.

I know, right? The current ceiling is not interesting at all.

They brought students there to photograph it. Then new owners got rid of it? Seems not so smart...

It's a chain. I'm sure the decision was made at the corporate level. This mall isn't that old though, so I'm really not sure what would have been so interesting about their ceiling. I was really surprised to hear it.

For a while there, I thought you have taken a fancy to woman's clothing. Now, I am not judging. My philosophy has always been - Whatever floats your boat. 😃

Not women’s clothes, no. But, little known fact, I am a connoisseur of women’s handbags.
