Hey, Steemit! Pleasant evening to you all. Getting a bit of a head start on my nightly photography blog post. I can’t complain. Once this is on the blockchain, @vermillionfox and I may try and get in another episode of The Witcher tonight. We spent some time at @caffetto. @tarotbyfergus didn’t come by so I actually got a bit of work done. @vermillionfox crushed me twice in MTG. We all got home and watched Clash of the Titans [yeah, from 2010. I can’t explain it, but I love that movie. When I was a kid, @customnature and I used to watch Jason and the Argonauts and other Greek mythology movies].

Tonight, I have new photography to share from the east coast. Miss Brandy Regale is a pinup model, and pin stripper artist in Connecticut. I was booking dates in New York City over the summer, and she contacted me about setting up a dark pinup session. I was already overbooked, but knew I needed the money with my upcoming Australia and New Zealand trip on the horizon, and honestly, how couldn’t I be excited about shooting with her. I rearranged some of my schedule, added one more morning in the city and we made it happen. As far as I know, this was her first professional photo shoot.

She met me at my friend’s apartment in Queens, NY. I’d finished a shoot with my friend Susan Simmons earlier that morning, and it was a tight schedule to take the train in time. When I arrived, Brandy was waiting for me and we didn’t waste any time. I quick introduction, and with a change of wardrobe, we were sprawling her long frame across the floor and furniture. The lighting was perfect. The space was dark and moody, allowing me to make the images I’m best know for. She’d brought her own candles and roses, which added to the romance and mystery of each shoot. A very femme fatale concept, in my opinion.

I have one more set of photos to return to Brandy, and should be getting back to those images in the coming weeks. Starting tomorrow, @guthrie is back to school. I’ll have the space I need to write, and it’s a new decade. I’m looking forward to continuing to work on projects like @coppercoins, my novel stories and cut through this ever growing pile of edits for clients. Great reflecting on the holidays, seeing friends and family, and all the progress happening on the Steemit front. Now, looking forward, I’m extremely optimistic. Thanks for reading.
