New prints hitting my dark pinup Etsy store!

We’re snowed in! Minnesota and the entire midwest is getting belted with a massive blizzard. Much of my evening was spent snow-blowing. It’s suppose to continue right in to tomorrow morning. Sadly, today was the release of Theros Beyond Death, the new Magic: The Gathering expansion, and I wasn’t able to pick up the cards I’ve had preordered for weeks. It was nice to have a home day, though. I ran some errands in the morning, one of which was shipping 100 high quality photo prints to @ryanashley. She’ll be signing them and sending them back so I can list them on my Etsy print store.

One of the biggest commitments I made to myself for 2020 was contingent on owning my platform […which I exclude Steemit from because regarding STEEM, I do own some of the blockchain, in stake at least], and focusing on passive income. I can thank @wcpublishing for introducing me to the freedom of that, as we publishing my first photography book together, Dark Pinup. Since it’s release at Viva Las Vegas in April of 2018, I’ve received royalty checks every quarter, and some of them have been substantial […not to mention timely in some very precarious financial situations].

Tomorrow, I’ll be adding several listings to new prints on my Etsy shop, and I thought I’d share those items here on Steemit tonight. @vermillionfox helped me arrange the “set”, a small space by the front window in our living room. She has a natural talent for these displays, and lots of experience doing visuals in retail for years. Fortunately, we have the same esthetic as well. Once these prints were set up, I had to mount my tripod and capture each photo. It’s probably not necessary, but I like including photo of the prints on each listing.

These will be hitting the Etsy store tomorrow, if any of you are looking for more dark pinup art in your life, bookmark the page. I also post rare collectors items, like two copies of Dark Pinup autographed by @ryanashley from Inkmaster. I also have new prints of Holly Madison from our Alice in Wonderland inspired shoot, for any fans of her books or Girls Next Door. It was nice to be productive on both the homestead front, and the career front, since we’re stuck here for a while. I’m going to try and get in some writing or drawing before bed. Good night!

Oh funny, I just got finished writing a post saying it’s not a blizzard. But then again I didn’t have to plow my driveway! Good luck with your Etsy shop!

My, the blizzard must've been biting, is it always like that at every time of the year? I'm glad you're set in Etsy it's really beautiful seeing the collections. Obviously a nice sleep will do, it's about 7:13 in the morning here

I hope you fulfill your plan and commitment of owning your own platform and earn a passive income. That's one of the best way of attaining financial freedom.

Firstly, snow us too, though I can't complain as our Coastal New England snow came last night, hit maybe 2 inches then the rain storm came and today we are meant to have a thaw. This is our normal winter, but I have PTSD from a few Winters ago when we had midwestern style winter of freezing temps and constant snow :/

Good luck on passive income. It's definitely the direction to move to and as we continually live in a 'gig economy' have a few irons in the fire at all times seems to be the new 'norm'.

Stay warm!
