More pinup w/ Betty in New York City!

Hey, Steemit! I might squeeze this one in under the stroke of midnight! @vermillionfox is still sick and I’m trying to balance time with @guthrie, work and a little recreational Magic: The Gathering play with @tarotbyfergus. I had a chance to set up a Eufy camera surveillance home security system, gifted by @bonni for the holidays, and make a run to the Apple Store for the sought after AirPods Pros […not sure how I’m feeling about them yet]. @guthrie is having a sleep over and @vermillionfox and I watched an episode of The Witcher on Netflix. All in all, a filled day.

During my time at @caffetto, I was able to get some editing done. That was a great part of my day. I’m always several months behind on edits, but when I can get get caught up, no matter how little that may be, it’s a relief. The holidays are a difficult time to get any work done, so I’ll take it when I can get it. Tonight, I was able to return to a Caribbean pinup in New York City, Miss Betty Chantel. I shared a set of photos with her a few weeks ago in my previous Steemit blog, “Caribbean pinup, Betty Chantel!”. Take a few moments to catch up on that story.

Betty has been incredibly patient and I was thrilled to get back to our shoot and edit. It’s been a while, and I kind of forgot just how strong these photos turned out. We met at a mutual friend’s apartment outside of Queens. The inside was decorated somewhere in between mid-century modern and horror. It was overcast and mid-day, so the light was perfect, and after spending six hours on these photos, I feel they’re some of the most striking from the entire shoot. I love having curvy models of color that know their body and poses. It such a pleasure to capture.

This was the second set of photos with Betty and I’ll be sharing the last set sometime shortly after the New Years holiday. Things have been good, lately. @ghostfish is on a short vacation but I know he and I are celebrating the successful funding of @coppercoins. I’m still working on a big post to commemorate the milestone. I got to see @roadscape and share in some mind-bending conversation that has become a calling cards of our lunches over the years.
