Hi shaka - this is easy! After some years working a train is getting old... becoming slowlier and avoiding every movement zhat is not absolutely neccasary. But it is a long way until stop working. So clever people invented a "train-parcours" where there are som difficult lessons to learn. Your photo shows the point where the train has to make a little jump for getting forward... That is fun for them and keeps them being "young".
