Desde el año 1986, forma parte de los Bienes de Interés Cultural que conforman el grandioso Patrimonio Histórico y Artístico de una España mágica, que como decía el escritor de origen soriano, Fernando Sánchez Dragó, todavía se niega a morir y de la que podría añadirse que sus últimos reductos, resisten con valentía numantina.
