A little orange-pink cloud doesn't make a sunrise.

Ein kleines orange-rosa Wölkchen macht noch keinen Sonnenaufgang.

I recently went to the lower Lago di Fusine (Lago di Fusine Inferiore) to photograph the sunrise.

Vor kurzem war ich am unteren Lago die Fusine (Lago di Fusine Inferiore), um dort den Sonnenaufgang zu fotografieren.

The Mangart mountain range was beautifully reflected in the lake, but unfortunately the sky was almost cloudless, so that apart from a slight morning tint of the sky there was nothing to see of a sunrise until a few small clouds appeared.

I recently posted these close-up photos of the Mangart with the pink-orange clouds.

Die Mangart Gebirgsgruppe spiegelte sich wunderschön im See, aber leider war der Himmel fast wolkenlos, so dass außer einer leichten morgendlichen Tönung des Himmels nichts von einem Sonnenaufgang zu sehen gewesen ist, bis dann doch ein paar kleine Wölkchen aufgetaucht sind.

Diese Nahaufnahmen vom Mangart mit den rosa-orange Wolken habe ich bereits vor kurzem gepostet.

These two photos show the mountain range and the sky above when these clouds have just formed and have already started to glow slightly orange.

These two lakes are small but very beautiful. I haven't photographed the upper one yet, but I'll do so this year. You have to go there very early in the morning or when the weather is not good to be quite alone, because otherwise there are millions of people around and you can enjoy the beauty of the lakes only if you put earplugs in ;)

I do know what cold water is, and the water in this lake is already a little bit iced over, but I have no idea what Wim Hof movement is 🙄

The clouds on these photos have become slightly orange

and after a few minutes they turned orange and pink, but I have to admit they have been more orange

but these photos I have posted about two weeks ago. Maybe I should have written it more clearly 🙄

Thank you so much, that lake has always showed me a beautiful reflection of the mountain range when I was there, but I don't think I have ever had a sunrise with nice colored clouds over the peaks. But I don't give up and will go there again ;)

I too try to take the day off and also the day before and after my birthday, and I also hate celebrating that day. Some people make big partys at their 50th and 60th birthday, but my 50th was a quite normal day for me and my 60th will be about the same, but on my last day at work there will be a big party for sure.

I cannot remember if I liked celebrating it as a kid, but I liked the birthday gifts though 😉

Funny thing is I do remember,, well I remember my Mum telling my wife a few years back, how I was different, although I enjoyed the presents of course, I always hated being the centre of attention and opening presents in front of people so hated to have a birthday party, whereas my siblings always wanted one

Ob Bach oder See ist eigentlich egal. Auf Fotos kommt es meist heraus ob das Wasser sauber oder eben nicht ist.

Wobei der Bach fließt, das verzerrt meistens.

Es geht nichts über klares Wasser. Wir sind als die Kinder größer waren vor allem wegen dem klaren Wasser von Italien nach Kroatien gewechselt. In Kroatien gibt es zwar wenig Sandstrände, aber solche mögen wir eh nicht, und Sand spielen wollten unsere Zwerge ohnehin nicht mehr, aber das Wasser ist so klar wie in den Gebirgsbächen, die ich zur Zeit fotografiere. In Italien siehst du wegen dem Sand gerade mal ein paar Zentimeter.

Ich kenne so klares Wasser, ich liebe es.
In Thailand konntest Du vom Boot aus ca. 10 Meter tief klar sehen. Beim tauchen hattest Du mindestens 20 Meter Sicht. In der Karibik und im riten Meer übrigens auch.
Da macht dann das Tauchen Spaß.

Ja, so klare Sicht hast du in Kroatien auch - vielleich tnicht ganz so weit, aber nachdem ich nicht tauche, kann ich es nicht wirklich beurteilen. So ein Wasser macht wirklich Spaß, weil man was sieht und nicht in einer braungrauen Brühe schwimmt.

So stelle ich es mir auch schön vor, aber du weißt ja, zu tief ist nix für mich - so klar kann das Wasser nicht sein, dass ich nicht umkehren würde, wenn es tiefer geht als vielleicht 10 Meter allerhöchstens.

Mit 10 Metern fängt man an, da ist es übrigens am schönsten.
Dann aber siegt wahrscheinlich die Neugier und man versucht von alleine tiefer zu gehen :)

Ich weiß, das hast du mir schon mal erzählt, aber das ist nicht meine Welt, so schön sie auch ist, und ich schaue solche Tauchgänge gerne auf Videos an.

I also do love the colors the lakes and rivers have in this area - this green tone is very beautiful and matches very well with the white mountains in the wintertime.

Dieser kleine See hat immer wunderbar klares Wasser und ist ein richtiger Magnet für viele Menschen, so dass ich immer sehr früh dort bin, meinen Spaziergang und ein paar Fotos mache und dann wieder weg bin, bevor die italienischen Familien auftauchen und die Ruhe vernichten. Nix gegen die Italiener, ich mag sie und ihr Land, aber sie sind halt nicht leise ;)
