Morning Fog in the Valley / Morgennebel im Tal

Very gently, the nebulizing fog is illuminated by the sun that has just risen, but whose rays do not yet reach the valley because of the mountains.

Ganz sanft wird der sich aufbauende Nebel von der gerade aufgegangenen Sonne erhellt, deren Strahlen aber wegen der Berge das Tal noch nicht erreichen.

Very slowly, the morning mist formed further east in the Drautal valley, already covered the higher lake Weißensee and moved west towards my hometown Oberdrauburg. The first rays of sunshine reach almost the valley.

Ganz langsam bildete sich der Morgennebel weiter östlich im Drautal, bedeckte bereits den höher gelegenen Weißensee und zog nach Westen in Richtung meines Heimatortes Oberdrauburg. Die ersten Sonnenstrahlen erreichen schon fast das Tal.

After a few minutes, the sun has now risen high enough to shine over the mountains into the valley and make the fog shining.

Nach einigen Minuten ist die Sonne nun hoch genug gestiegen, um über die Berge in das Tal zu scheinen und den Nebel zum Leuchten zu bringen.

When I sit alone on a mountain and see the little world down below, I often laugh when I think of the oh-so-important little people who rather sleep in their little houses than see such a beautiful sunrise.
Then I laugh and all the problems are no more, at least until I'm down there again with the little people who want to tell me what's important in life.

Wenn ich hin und wieder so alleine auf einem Berg sitze und die kleine Welt unten sehe, dann muss ich auch oft lachen, wenn ich an die ach so wichtigen Menschlein denke, die lieber in ihren kleinen Häuschen schlafen als so einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang zu sehen.
Dann lache ich und alle Probleme sind keine mehr, zumindest bis ich wieder bei den Menschlein dort unten bin, die mir sagen wollen, was im Leben wichtig ist.

This post is the sequel to yesterday's post "Sunshine on a gray Day", and today I wanted to show the close-ups from the gentle fogging in the valley, which I made with the telephoto lens.

Dieser Beitrag ist die Fortsetzung zum einem gestrigen Beitrag "Sonnenschein an einem grauen Tag", und heute wollte ich die Nahaufnahmen zeigen, die ich mit dem Teleobjektiv von der sanften Nebelbildung im Tal gemacht habe.

Its amazing how big difference can make just few minutes between the photos.
@johannpiber , you are lucky that you have your mountains that you can escape from ordinary life of little people.

Was it mad to write such? Sometimes I hate people, and especially when I escape on a mountain and look down I have quite these feelings ... and I like them, because I feel so much better then ;) lol

Should I feel sorry for you now? OK, I do, but only a bit, because you said you have Steemit - Steemit is good, at least to me it was the best thing I have found over many years :) ... now I can dream again 🙂
And you have !BEER - the virtual beer is also good ;) the real beer is fun, but after a while the fun is over and you need more of it ...

Enough of that serious writing, I wanted to write something funny, but then these words came into my mind. Today is Friday and the weekend is so close. I wish you a great weekend and hopefully we all will have some sunny days, because these gray days are driving me in a !DERANGED mood 👍🙂

I have been a little !DERANGED when I made this post yesterday, because I think these many dark gray days we have had are not good for me.
Last night I asked myself why I should go out photographing, because I have so many photos in my archives, that I could easily make it over the winter. That's not good, and as soon as I get out of the office today, I will search for the sun to recharge my good mood 🙄

The walk was nice to get some fresh Air, now much of a Sunrise at all it was hidden in the clouds but its been a couple of weeks since i walked the beach so I was !DERANGED happy to get out on the Boardwalk ;)

I had pretty much the same, drove up to a mountain nearby where I have taken quite a few sunsets before, and the sun was hidden behind the clouds, but I could see a little bit of a sunset and the valley was nicely covered in fog and clouds.
Maybe I post a photo tomorrow.
But as you say, it was a !DERANGED good feeling to be out once again 🙂

Your weather ist better than ours. I know that's not true, but at the moment I'd prefer any weather than this depressing wet gray, which makes me think dark gray.
Anyway, I think I should take a loot at the few photos I took yesterday and am looking forward to see yours, of which you thought are not good enough 😉

Yes, just think positive and everything will turn out positive ... I'm thinking positive for more than 10 days now, but the !DERANGED weather does not change positive 😢

Yeah, Mother Nature is mad at me - she still keeps the rain clouds above my head and I don't know why. But I am also thinking positive and later this day I'll try to find a hole in the clouds ;)

I would never have thought that I'd be on this list, because I have not done much commenting in the past few weeks. Mostly I am only replying to the comments I get, but this seems to count the same. I knew you would be on the list though ;)

It was raining yesterday evening and I didn't get a good spot to watch the event. There have been little children in front of me, what has been funny, because they haven't been scared, but all Krampusses looked down to them. Also their masks are so much different nowadays from the scary wooden masks I know from my childhood. Today they look more like creatures from horror movies.

We did spend a good amount of time there but got a good amount of steps in between, well I got steps in while my Wife was looking at Makeup, I had to get steps in or I would have got !DERANGED and in need of a !BEER

I know that, my friend, I do really know that.
Sometimes I had to wait for my wife in the car and I saw her chatting with the women throug the shop window ... and chatting ... and chatting ... and I have been in urgent need of a toilet, but there was none around.
We have had such situations quite a few times and she always wondered, why I have been !DERANGED upset when she finaly came ;) lol

I think, everyone makes these experiences somehow sometime ;) They just forget that there's somebody waiting and time does not matter.
If someone asks me how I am I say good or bad. For my wife and for most of the other women I know such a question doesn't mean what the words mean - it means "do you want to chat about things we have been talking yesterday and about which we will be talking tomorrow again?" ;) lol

Yes, down there we are all little people, and when you are on top of a mountain you can see, how small the people and the world is ;)
You can drive up to the mountain pasture you can see below - just above the treeline.

Yes, you can drive up to the mountain pasture. The road ends here:


But I usually park beside the road somewhere between the trees below the pasture. From there you have to hike to the peak. I know it looks close, but it isn't - also driving up to there takes about 45 minutes.

We have something called "Erntedankfest" (Harvest festival - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvest_festival), which about the same as your Thanksgiving, but I cannot remember that we ever have celebrated it like you do.

This day is no holiday here, but it is celebrated of course. All I said was, that we/my family has never celebrated it 🙂

Hey, you won't believe what I saw on the news yesterday. They had a report about the Austrian Krampuses! It showed them walking down the street, looked like the street was filled with fake smoke. It was great but the report was only about 30 seconds long!

On holidays I do not need to work - everybody can stay at home, if his job allows it. Mine does, but if I do have to work I get paid better, as well as I get paid additionally or even more if I work on saturdays or on Sundays.

Cool, now you believe me, that these are no carneval photos ;) lol
Yes, sometimes they have fire shows on the street with real smoke and also fake smoke, of course.

Nono, on holidays I usually don't work unless nobody else has time and I have to, but a few are always at work, so that about one Saturday or Sunday a month is all I do, and I prefer to not be at work.

I made this photo about 7 years ago and there was only fire and smoke to see ... and this mask ;)

I love it when I am on a mountain early in the morning and the valley is all covered with white fog.
