I have just returned from a 6 hour forest walk.

Ich bin gerade von einem 6 Stunden Waldspaziergang zurückgekommen.

A few minutes before I got home, I found this beautiful parasol.

Ein paar Minuten, bevor ich wieder zu Hause angekommen bin, habe ich dann diesen schönen Parasol gefunden.

Because it was just a single mushroom, I let it stand. If it had been several mushrooms, then there would have been a delicious dinner.

Weil es nur ein einzelner Pilz gewesen ist, habe ich ihn stehen gelassen. Wenn es mehrere Pilze gewesen wären, dann hätte es ein leckeres Abendessen gegeben.

Parasol can be tricky to identify some can be poisonous but some are really delicious.

Yes, @zirochka, seriously, this mushroom is edible and tastes wonderful. I like it best if you bread the umbrella like a Wiener Schnitzel 🙂

Oh, it's interesting. And unusual to me. I used to hear about Boletus edulis as a favorite mushroom to eat and take photos. Here :)

This Boletus edulis is called Steinpilz here, and you are right, it is a very good mushroom, but I prefer the Parasol 😉

On the first sight it looks like a parasol, but there are a lot of differences when you look closer. It's a shame, that you cannot eat them. Have a !BEER instead 🙂

Now here is another word thing about me i do like a mushroom sauce on a steak, but I dont like mushrooms themselves and ill eat around them LOL,, Never had that problem with !BEER however

I like both, a mushroom sauce on a steak is as delicious as a parasol alone 🙂

I can be a picky eater at times I will Tyr just about anything once but some things just once and that gos for mushrooms, and certain styles of !BEER for that matter

We eat very seldom fast food - sometimes we go to McDonalds with our kids. I like it for the taste, but I hate eating a Big Mac or such without fork and knife 😉

I eat most burgers with a fork and knife but the rare time i have one fromMcDonalds i can eat it without one there not that big,
But I to very rarely have fast food these days and only when withthe grandkids !BEER

Als ich gestern im Wald unterwegs war, da hätte ich einige Kilo Pilze mitnehmen können. Auf manchen Plätzen habe ich außer Pilzen fast nichts anderes gesehen, aber ich kenne nur ein paar Speisepilze, und ich hatte auch nichts dabei, um sie sicher nach Hause zu bringen. Da habe ich einfach von ein paar interessanten Pilzen Fotos geschossen 😉

También solo conozco algunos hongos comestibles, como esta sombrilla. Pero debido a que encontré solo este, y eso habría sido muy poco para una cena, lo dejé y lo fotografié, fue demasiado agradable para llevarlo.

Great pictures as always. I love this mushroom. As you said it is delicious. Wander if you cook it the same way. First coated in the egg then in flour and finally throw it on hot pan and fry for couple minutes on both sides. Almost same as schnitzel. It is so tasty.
I envy your 6 hour long walk in the forest. Where I live there is no forests only parks.

We bread the mushroom like a Wiener Schnitzel, but maybe we should try it once without the bread crumbs, as you do ;)
We have large forests left and right of the valleys. They are mostly steep and not easy to hike, when you don't use a path, like I did 😉
