Lone Tree (Photo 52 Week #8 / MonoMad)

Today there is only one picture from me, but twice.

Heute gibt es nur ein Bild von mir, aber das gleich zweifach.

The lone Tree / Der einsame Baum
Pokljuka / Radovna Valley . Slovenia

The title is simple and the whole picture is simple, but I just simply liked the scene with this little alpine meadow, the water trough and the single tree that I came across on Saturday when I hiked through the Pokljuka Gorge (A Sunrise, a Hike and some History).

Der Titel ist einfach und auch das ganze Bild ist einfach, aber mir hat die Szene mit dieser kleinen Almwiese, dem Wassertrog und dem einzelnen Baum, an der ich am Samstag bei meiner Wanderung durch die Pokljuka Schlucht (A Sunrise, a Hike and some History) vorbeigekommen bin, einfach gut gefallen.

Photo 52 Challenge

That's a great photo challenge. @wwwiebe started the project "Photo 52" and created the Steem Account @photo52.

Location / Standort: My photo spot on Google Maps

All photos were shot with the Canon EOS R and one of these lenses: Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS II USM, Canon EF 16-35mm 1:4L IS USM, SIGMA 105mm 1:2,8 DG MACRO HSM, SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM C.

I leave all EXIF and IPTC information stored in the pictures.

Ehrlich gesagt: die halb-und-halb-Bearbeitung im Titelbild gefällt mir am besten. Sowohl rein farbig als auch rein monochrom ist das Bild etwas kontrastarm. An deiner Stelle hätte ich aber auch nicht bis zum Abend gewartet, damit sich das Licht ändert. :)
Ich hätte das Motiv genauso aufgenommen, also bitte nicht als Kritik verstehen.

Oh, Kritik mag ich gar nicht - das gibt ein fettes Downvote auf deinen nächsten Beitrag ;) lol

Ich habe die Komplementärfarben Blau und dieses orange Braun gesehen, aber du hast schon recht, ansonsten fehlen Kontraste irgendwie - mir hat einfach das Gesamtbild gefallen.
Aber: Ich habe nicht bis zum Abend gewartet, denn das hätte mir zu lange gedauert - es war später Vormittag ;) Du hast den langen Schatten gesehen, stimmts? Den wollte ich eigentlich rausstempeln, hatte heute aber keine Zeit und Lust dazu ;)

That's quite true, and I think the main reason for me is that a lone tree is easier to photograph than to take a photo in a messy forest ;)

Good morning mate,

thank you so much - I would have made more photos, but this meadow was private area and I didn't want to walk in,although nobody was around and the gate was open ;)
I like that competition a lot, but some themes are quite hard, such as this one where I had to select any photo without having a real theme 😉

Morning I hope your day has started well, sittign in the cold right now our heating seems to have decided to take a break overnight for some reason, just reset it and it seems to be kicking in now so hopingit warms the place up soon

Well, I'm cold too, but not because our heating does not work - I'm ill. Good thing is, I can still steem without anybody disturbing me ;) lol and the bad thing is that I have to run to the toilet every few minutes 😆

Schönen guten Morgen Peter :)

Du wirst lachen, aber ich bin gerade aufgestanden und gehe wahrscheinlich bald wieder liegen. Ich war zwar in der Früh auf, bin dann aber wieder liegen gegangen, weil ich mich rundum unwohl gefühlt habe: Von Kopfweh bis zu Gelenkschmerzen und laufend auf's WC musste ich auch. Hab' jetzt aber ein paar Stündchen geschlafen und es geht mir schon wieder ein bisschen besser, aber heute wird auf Sparschiene gefahren ;)

Dieses Bäumchen mit dem Wassertrog hat mir einfach gut gefallen. Leider konnte ich nicht näher ran, weil die Wiese eingezäunt war und ich nicht auf fremde Grundstücke gehe, schon gar nicht im Ausland.

Naja, ich war ja vor 2 Wochen in Italien und eine Kollegin, die bei mir im Büro sitzt, war am Wochenende beim Karneval in Venedig ;)

Danke dir - morgen bleibe ich noch zu Hause und am Donnerstag habe ich leider einen wichtigen beruflichen Termin, woran ich teilnehmen möchte, wenn es mir wieder besser geht, was ich schon glaube.

So habe ich wenigstens Zeit, ungestört ein bisschen mein Fotoarchiv für Postings zu durchstöbern ;)

Positiv denken ist immer besser als Pessimismus, und ich versuche eigentlich immer positiv zu denken - manchmal funktioniert es nicht, aber meistens schon und das Gefühl ist ein besseres :)

Sometimes they have a water hose to fill the water trough for the cattle, but mostly they have regular water pipes that the cows or sheep always have fresh water. This trough is an old broken one and not in use anymore. The cattle get their water somewhere else.

They are easier to photograph than a tree in the woods, because there's only the tree and not such a mess around, and most of these trees look just good somehow :)

That's very true. I do know a few of such trees, and this one now belongs to my little collection. When I visit this gorge again in spring I will take one more photo of this tree 🙂

Yes, that's true - most trees are in national forests, but some are on private properties too. And you may be sure that I would never hurt a tree if by cutting a name in it's bark. The only reasons for me to hurt or cut a tree would be when it's dangerous or if I would need fire wood for the winter ;)
