Into the fog / In den Nebel
On my last hike on the Dobratsch, the local mountain of Villach, the sunset was hidden behind the fog and the clouds - a few days ago I have already posted about that. |
Auf meiner letzten Wanderung auf den Dobratsch, dem Hausberg von Villach, hat sich der Sonnentuntergang hinter dem Nebel und den Wolken versteckt - vor ein paar Tagen habe ich davon bereits einen Beitrag gepostet. |

Today I would like to show a few more shots, on which you could see the excellent view, which prevailed that day, if it had not been so foggy. The first photo shows an avalanche fence that seems to disappear in the fog. | Heute möchte ich ein paar weitere Aufnahmen zeigen, auf welchen man die ausgezeichnete Fernsicht, welche an diesem Tag herrschte, erkennen könnte, wenn es nicht so neblig gewesen wäre. Der erste Foto zeigt einen Lawinenzaun, welcher im Nebel zu veschwinden scheint. |

Bei uns im Tal regnet es seit ich diese Fotos gemacht habe - das war auf ungefähr 2.000 Meter Höhe und jetzt ist da noch viel mehr Schnee. Hier unten ist der Winter zur Zeit noch dunkel, grau und nass 😢

Hihi, da ich ja im flachen Norden lebe, sind mir diese Höhen nicht so präsent. Klar, du hast Schnee oben auf dem Berg. Ein alter Schulkamerad von mir lebt jetzt in San Diego und spricht immer davon, dass sie eigentlich nicht verreisen müssten: Strand und Skilaufen gibt es beides ;-) LG und !BEER Kadna
Das kann ich auch, wenn ich will - der Weißensee ist der höchste Badesee und dort ist auch ein kleines Schigebiet. Vom Ossiacher See geht direkt eine Gondel in ein größeres Schigebiet 🙂
Bei uns dürften die Strecken zwischen den Gebieten etwas kürzer sein, aber dafür auch alles insgesamt kleiner ;)
Das heißt, in den Urlaub fahren bräuchten wir eigentlich auch nicht, denn innerhalb von einer Stunde könnten wir Schi fahren und ich bin in einer halben Stunde zu Fuß am See, aber das ist halt alles relativ ;)

Today is going to be one of those !DERANGED mornings, no clouds and Sunny for sunrise, but colder than a !BEER should be and windy, a good day to stay inside and warm for the start of the day at least
I just read and replied to your other comment - stay inside, have a look at your photos from yesterday, which might be better than you think, and maybe at the time I reply the weather might have changed, that you can go for a walk 🙂

Es war gar nicht so kalt, aber wenn man im Winter auf einen Berg geht, dann hat man normalerweise ohnehin die entsprechende Kleidung mit ;)

BEERfrom @johannpiber for you. Enjoy it!These are nice shots even though it is foggy and cloudy. Do those fences really stop an avalanche? That is a cool shot coming out of the fog with the fence like that.
Years ago there was a ski ressort on that mountain. These fences have been there since then. But yes, these and other fences on that mountain will slow down and even stop avalanches.

It looked like an extremely well built fence, I've never seen one quite like it before.

I haven't forgotten but I would need to get into shape for climbing and I'm not sure how I would do that. We don't even have stairs at our house because it is a one floor and has no basement.
Hmmm - before you can get the money out from Steemit you have to wait 13 weeks anyway. I think this time would be enough to begin a nice little training and after 13 weeks you should be able to do short hikes on little mountains ;)

I might have to buy one of those stair stepper machines, that would do it! It wouldn't help with the altitude though, I'd be puffing just from the thinner oxygen.
Oh, that will be much fun up there on the mountain. The people will hear you loud puffing long before they can see you ;) lol
