We did it that way and went to Lower Austria on Thursday to visit my niece. My daughter was at the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten until Sunday and we only saw her two or three times. Her twin brother said, one night at the festival is enough, and spent the rest of the days with his lovely family 😉 The weather was reasonably warm during the day, but the nights were already fresh like in Autumn. | Wir haben es auch so gemacht und sind am Donnerstag zu meiner Nichte nach Niederösterreich gefahren. Mein Töchterchen war dann bis zum Sonntag auf dem Frequency Festival in St. Pölten und wir haben sie nur zwei oder drei mal gesehen. Ihrem Zwillingsbruder hat eine Nacht auf dem Festival gereicht, und er hat die restlichen Tage mit seiner lieben Familie verbracht 😉 Das Wetter war einigermaßen warm am Tage, aber die Nächte waren bereits herbstlich frisch. |

Friday morning I drove along the Danube in the hope of a sunrise, but the sky was gray in gray and it also rained in places slightly. Upstream I noticed intense colors in the sky shortly before the village of Dürnstein and luckily found a parking space quite fast. Unfortunately, while I mounted the camera on the tripod, the really very pink and orange colored clouds faded very quickly, and I was glad that I could at least take these pictures because after a few minutes the sky was gray again and it started to rain, as you might see on the photos. | Freitag in der Früh bin ich in der Hoffnung auf einen Sonnenaufgang entlang der Donau gefahren, aber der Himmel war grau in grau und es hat stellenweise auch leicht geregnet. Flussaufwärts habe ich dann kurz vor der Ortschaft Dürnstein intensive Farben am Himmel bemerkt und glücklicherweise ziemlich schnell einen Parkplatz gefunden. Während ich die Kamera auf das Stativ montiert habe, verblassten die wirklich sehr stark rosa und orange gefärbten Wolken aber leider sehr rasch, und ich war froh, dass ich zumindest diese Fotos machen konnte, weil schon nach ein paar Minuten der Himmel wieder grau war und es zu regnen begonnen hat, wie man auf den Fotos auch sehen dürfte. |

The sky looks very different but it looks great
Before I parked the car and got my camera out the colors were even more intense, but as said, only for a few minutes, and then came the gray rain clouds.

Yes, it was a good time with my family and my niece's family, although I have not seen my daughter ;)
The sky was gray in gray, but then I have suddenly seen these colors in the sky above me (I drive a Peugeot 5008 with a glass roof ;). The photos show the rest of these colors - you should have seen the sky before I was ready to photograph it :)

Yes, my daughter has been 4 days on this festival with loud music, alcohol, drugs and ... but I have asked her to tell me only the nice things ;)
Yes, the clouds right above my head were deep orange and pink, but this intense color was gone very fast ... and there were no weed smoking young people around at 6 o'clock in the morning ;) lol
Only natural you ask your daughter to only tell you the nice things LOL

She started telling, but I said "stop, are you ok and did you have fun?" She said "yes" and I said "ok, fine". My little girl has become 17 today, she is no child anymore 😭
My children don't smoke, but some of their friends do, and I don't know if my daughter smoked weed at that festival 😎

I think I would have done the same, where i live its not legal yet but most likely will be soon it may as well be I smell it so often when out and about, especially at festivals or near bars.
I am sure you have raised her to be sensible and thats the main thing
Yes, she likes to make party, but I know, she is a good and smart girl, and I do trust her, that she does not do stupid things :)

A few minutes before I took these pictures, the sky was even more intense. A lot of this color has gone by in the photos, but it's still a beautiful sight.
Unfortunately you can not see the village with the church and the castle ruin very well, because the distance was too big, and it was still a bit too dark. That's why I've included links to the websites for more information.
Ah! I wish to see those colors when the sky was intense...... In the meantime, even though a lot of this color has gone, I think, the color of the sky in the photos are very impressive. I love these!

We have had so many comversations over the past months - maybe I have told you, but I cannot remember. Yes, they are twins and the biggest difference is, that they are boy and girl 😉 lol When they were younger they looked very much the same, but now you can only tell, that they are brother and sister.

That's so true - Steemit is not the only website - palnet.io, steempeak.com and not to forget the new photostreem.com are very interesting, as well as so many new websites, which have come with all these new tokens and coins :)

Photostreem is a very new frontend to Steem and the new PHOTO token, which should be especially for photographers. I didn't have had the time to have a deeper look at it, but I think, for us photographers it will be a good thing :)

I couldn't do anything yesterday, and this morning I just have the time to reply to the comments. Steemit is running fine, but I cannot tell more yet.
Yeah I think everything is back to normal as far as I can tell. They say it will be 3 or 4 months before we know if the hardfork did what they wanted it to do. I don't know why it takes so long to see the results but that's what some official person said.
You are already a photographer sir johannpiber, a darn good one and most of your images are totally professional grade photos!
I also don't know, what might take so long, but they should know, what they are talking about, I hope ;)
I think, we will see the first results in a few days, when we get the rewards for our posts after the hard fork.

It's about 7:30 pm and it's getting dark outside. I am at home, writing replies ;) lol
I have been on a short ride today, but it was another hot day - too hot to ride in full gear, and so I stayed at home and edited some photos, which I took at the weekend.
Oh, well that sounds like a great way to spend your evening, better than laying around watching tv! I know I asked you this but I don't remember the answer..what does the Missus think about Steemit?
