Dobratsch at Sunrise
View from the Mangart Mountain

When I was on the Mangart in Slovenia at sunrise lately and had this bad weather with strong wind and freezing fog, I was able to take a few photos of the Dobratsch in Austria in a northerly direction, where the mountain peak was covered in a cloud.

Als ich letztens bei Sonnenaufgang auf dem Mangart in Slowenien gewesen bin und dieses schlechte Wetter mit starkem Wind und gefrierendem Nebel hatte, konnte ich ein paar Fotos vom Dobratsch in Österreich in nördlicher Richtung machen, wo der Berggipfel in eine Wolke gehüllt war.

This was the first photo of a few, and the fog had already set on the front lens, but in the other pictures, the front lens was already partially so iced that I have put the pictures directly into the tray.

Das war das erste Foto von mehreren, und der Nebel hatte sich schon etwas auf der Frontlinse angelegt, aber bei den weiteren Bildern war die Frontlinse dann schon teilweise so vereist, dass die Bilder direkt in der Ablage gelandet sind.

Good morning JJ,

the time change to standard time made me sleep quite long today - I woke up at 5 o'clock at my usual time, but it was only 4 o'clock. So, I decided to sleep a bit longer and woke up at 7 😉

I remember when you teased me that it was only soly lens that fogged up but thats allI will say LOL

So far my weekendis going well, today its raining so not sure I will get out for a walk, but theres a chance it may stop at 7 so I remain hopeful :)

Good morning JJ, I also don't think, that there's more to say about it ;) lol

I am sitting at my computer since this morning, sorting out the bad photos from yesterday's hike. There are about 150 left by now, but most photos are double or even triple - so, there might be about 60 useable photos left, which I will post over the next weeks. Maybe I'll also do a travelfeed post about the hike.

I hope for you, that the rain over there stops, that you can go for a walk.
We have beautiful Autumn weather again, but from tomorrow on they say it will get cold and rainy and the good weather should be over for a while. We'll see :)

Probier mal Rechtsklick und "in neuem Tab öffnen". Ich weiß leider nicht, welchen Browser du benutzt, aber so ähnlich sollte es eigentlich in allen Browsern heißen. Du kannst leider weder auf Steemit, noch auf Steempeak, wo ich veröffentliche, spezielle Attribute bei den Tags einbauen, damit Links oder Fotos automatisch in einem neuen Fenster oder Tab geöffnet werden.
Steempeak hat den unter anderem Vorteil, dass ich Beiträge viel besser erstellen / ausarbeiten und auch zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt automatisch veröffentlichen kann, wenn ich, so wie gestern, den ganzen Tag in den Bergen unterwegs bin 😉 Dort öffnet der Klick auf das Bild dieses auch im selben Fenster in einer Art Galerieansicht - https://steempeak.com/photography/@johannpiber/cloud-cap-wolkenhut.

Kein Problem, ich habe dann eben nochmals gesucht und den Artikel wieder geöffnet um Dir einen Kommentar und like zu schenken.

Bin halt etwas verwöhnt, da ich meist nur über meine Blogs veröffentliche und dort halt ein Attribut setzen kann.

Aber das Foto ist schon gigantisch, erinnert mich an eine Überflug über die Alpen nach Ägypten bei absolut klarer Sicht.

Ich finde diese Berge faszinierend so lange ich sie mir nicht zu Fuß erklimmen muss. :)
Dazu bin ich zu faul.

Das mit Wordpress und dem Steemit Plugin SteemPress habe ich mir auch schon mal überlegt gehabt, bin dann aber wieder davon abgekommen.

Ich bin eigentlich auch immer zu faul, auf einen Berg zu steigen oder weitere Wanderungen zu unternehmen, aber wenn man dann mal oben oder am Ziel ist, ist alles wunderbar 🙂

So lange ich mit einem Auto dahin komme ist alles gut :)

Oh wie lange habe ich nun schon vor die Anden zu besuchen und zu sehen.

Es sind nur 1000km, aber irgendwie habe ich mich dazu noch nicht aufraffen können.

Es wird aber noch was.

Einmal in meinen Leben will ich einen Teil davon, denn alles kann man eh nicht sehen, erleben.

Die Alpen, ja ich kennen sie in allen 3 Ländern, bin ich durch diverse Pässe und Tunnel mit nem LKW gefahren.

Gegen die Anden aber sind die Alpen ein Vorgebirge :D

Mir reicht das "Vorgebirge" vorerst ;) ... aber die Anden wären schon eine schöne Sache, aber mir fehlt außer dem nötigen Kleingeld auch die Zeit ... zur Zeit ;)
Da bräuchte ich schon ein paar Wochen Urlaub, um zumindest einen kleinen Teil davon durchwandern zu können - es gibt ja einige schöne Trekking Touren dort.

Ich fahre ja auch gerne Auto und ich genieße immer die Fahrten zu meinen "Zielen" 🙂
Ein paar Jahre noch, dann ist zu wenig Freizeit eigentlich kein Thema mehr, aber, so wie ich mich kenne, werden dann auch 24 Stunden / 7 Tage pro Woche Freizeit auch nicht ausreichen ;) lol

Das kann ich dir durchaus bestätigen.

Ich arbeite ja nur das was ich wirklich muss. Rente beziehe ich nicht, dafür bin ich noch zu jung und sollte ich wirklich noch etwas bekommen wird es zum Leben garantiert nicht reichen.

Jetzt bin ich 10 Jahre hier, habe alle Zeit der Welt, trage keine Uhr mehr und jeden Tag frage ich mich: Wo ist der Tag ab geblieben.

Ich weiß, ich werde noch sehr viel Zeit haben in meinem Leben. Dennoch verget auch bei mir diese wie im Flug.

Mit 64 bin ich hoffentlich schon mindestens 2 Jahre in Pension und habe schon ein paar Gebiete besucht, die sich jetzt einfach nicht ausgehen ;)
Darauf muss ich mit Mitte 50 aber noch ein paar Jährchen warten und ich mache es so, wie du richtig sagst - ich mache das Beste daraus und versuche, jede Minute zu genießen, zumindest die in der Freizeit ;)

It was a very beautiful sunrise at first when I reached the mountain peak, but then a cold wind and the fog came. So, I was glad that I could take some quite nice photos like these :)

Oh, the peak of this mountain is there, @janton, it looks quite flat though ;)
This is the mountain, where I often go for a hike in Winter. There is also a very high transmitter tower on the peak.

I think, it is not easy to get such a job and you should not think, that it's an easy job.
You have to get up before sunrise and take care of the cattle and milk them. You have to make butter and cheese and you have to host the tourists, but over all you have to be friendly to the people who come and just want to have a rest at your cottage without consuming any of your products.
