Bleak : Trostlos (Photo 52 Week #5)

Can bleak weather be cold without being cold? It wasn't really cold this morning, but it was so bleak that I shivered.

Kann trostloses Wetter auch kalt sein ohne dass es kalt ist? Es ist nicht wirklich kalt gewesen heute morgen, aber so trostlos, dass mich gefröstelt hat.

There are other words for bleak, such as dreary, desolate, cheerless or miserable, but bleak would suit best to this morning, because although it initially looked like a beautiful sunrise with fog, this fog then was completely different than usual and somehow lit the landscape in a bleak light.

Es gibt auch andere Worte für trostlos, wie zum Beispiel trist, düster, trübselig oder auch freudlos, wobei aber trostlos für den heutigen Morgen am besten passen würde, denn obwohl es zuerst nach einem schönen Sonnenaufgang mit Nebel ausgesehen hat, ist dieser Nebel dann so ganz anders gewesen als sonst und hat die Landschaft irgendwie in ein trostloses Licht getaucht.

My cold photo for #photo52 Week #5

It was really cold that day in early December 2019 and the hoarfrost is a good witness. You can decide for yourself which of the two who took a rest on this bench was the man and who was the woman.

An diesem Tag Anfang Dezember 2019 ist es wirklich kalt gewesen und der Rauhreif kann dies bezeugen. Wer von den beiden, die sich auf dieser Bank ausgerastet haben, der Mann gewesen ist und wer die Frau, kann jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.

All photos were shot with the Canon EOS R and one of these lenses: Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS II USM, Canon EF 16-35mm 1:4L IS USM, SIGMA 105mm 1:2,8 DG MACRO HSM, SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM C.

I wanted to take some macro shots of ice and frost at the reservoir, but all ice has melted and there was only very little frost, so I had to search for something else.

what stuff they (Adobe stock) request or accept, at all?

I've got an impression all foto-banks are over-filled and accept only something vintage or custome/ordered..

you make bleak look beautiful

this already summarises everything I wanted to say, in a best way

I think they take everything as long as it's fairly good. I have uploaded the butt photo and am curious if they take it.
Many years ago I have had my photos on Shutterstock and some other microstock agencies and I have made a little extra money. But as you say, they are overfilled and to make money you'll have to have a huge stock of good and useful photos.
A few years ago I have decided to delete all my stock photos, because the effort was too much for the little money.
But I have some on Adobe Stock, although I haven't earned a lot yet, but if they take my butts I know what to photograph in future 😉

Haha, nette Anspielung mit Männlein-Weiblein (Diskriminierung?) Schöne Fotos trotz der Trübnis (gibt es das Wort überhaupt, aber Trübsal hätte nicht gepasst und Tristesse kann ich nicht richtig schreiben 😎) Dein Abschlusstext zur Challenge ist im deutschen Teil bei mir auf Steemit an der Seite abgeschnitten. !invest_vote

Deshalb habe ich ja geschrieben, dass es jedem selbst überlassen bleibt, wer das größere Hinterteil hat. Wenn ich mich mit meiner Frau dort hinsetzen würde, dann wüsste ich, wer den größeren Abdruck hinterlassen würde, und wenn sich unsere Nachbarin von gegenüber mit ihrem Mann hinsetzen würde, dann wäre es genau umgekehrt ... der Mann hätte wahrscheinlich gar keinen Platz ;) lol

Das Schlimmste war heute ja nicht der Nebel, sondern dass das bisschen Eis, das ich letztens fotografiert habe, geschmolzen ist und ich das Makro Objektiv umsonst mitgetragen habe ;)

Also bei mir in Firefox wird alles korrekt angezeigt, aber ich habe gerade im Edge Browser gesehen, dass du recht hast, und Chrome schneidet auch ab. Dankeschön für die Info - nächste Woche werde ich mich drum kümmern. Ich kann leider keinen Beitrag, der online ist ändern, weil ich einige Follower habe, die meine Beiträge automatisch voten, sobald sie online gehen und ich habe bemerkt, dass das auch gilt, wenn ich eine Änderung speichere - das wäre dann Verschwendung von Votes.

Ich habe es einmal bemerkt, als ich eine Änderung gespeichert habe und dann die ganzen Votes nochmal reingekommen sind. Seitdem versuche ich keine Fehler zu machen, und wenn doch mal was passiert, dann ist das Pech für mich ;)

Die Spendensätze? Da hatten ein Freund und ich noch viel bessere zu Beginn, und wir haben die ganzen bot Befehle auch irgendwie in unsere (sinnlose) Konversation eingebaut. Aber vor kurzen haben wir damit aufgehört, die Blogs vollzuspammen, obwohl es meistens unsere eigenen waren.

Leider ist dieses Vollspammen eine Spaßbremse für die Leser und damit für den Spielenden! Ich hatte viel Spaß an den Giphys zum Ausprobieren und habe auch aufgehört damit (ich hatte eine extra Spielwiese von @double-u dafür bekommen und schnell gar keine Lust mehr 🤣) Und einige der Token haben auch ziemlich lange Texte mit Erklärungen - das muss doch auch nicht sein, oder? !invest_vote und schönen Sonntag!

Aber zu jedem Kommentar gibt es zumindest ein !BEER oder einen anderen Token, manchmal aber auch mehr von mir, denn mit dem Upvoten von Kommentaren habe ich aufgehört, weil keiner was davon hat, wenn der Vote nicht ziemlich hoch ist. Guten Morgen Johann.

Winter ist meiste trostlos und wenig erbaulich. Gerade der Nebel deckt dann Vieles zu.
Deine Erwartungen waren für diesen Tag einfach zu hoch gesteckt, darum klingt nun bei Dir die Enttäuschung heraus.

Morgen kann es wieder ganz anders aussehen.

Ich bin mir sicher, Du weißt das selber.

Dennoch sind die Fotos nicht übel. Vor allem die Sitzbank. Da wird es wahrscheinlich ganz anders sein als es offensichtlich aussieht :)

Ach, mich hat am meisten genervt, dass es so warm ist und auch die kleinen Eisfleckchen geschmolzen sind. Mein Makro hatte ich gestern umsonst mit. Und der Nebel war wahrscheinlich so komisch, weil es einfach zu warm gewesen ist. Keine Ahnung.
Heute ist es sonnig und noch wärmer, aber ich war ja in Slowenien in den Bergen und bei Wasserfällen - also ganz andere Voraussetzungen als gestern :)

Ich habe keine Ahnung, wer da gesessen hat und welcher Abdruck männlich und welcher weiblich ist ;) Anfang Dezember war ich frühmorgens bei Wasserfällen in Slowenien und am Parkplatz steht diese Sitzgruppe. Die Abdrücke müssen vom Vortag gewesen sein.

Still laughing over the butt prints on the bench! This time of year bleak is a word that I am far too familiar with. Gloomy is another one that I use frequently. Wonderful poetry to go with your wonderful photos.

I haven't known the word bleak before I was searching for the english translation of "trostlos" and I liked bleak most.
The bench photo was shot almost 2 months ago and I haven't found a possibility to post it ... until yesterday ;)

many English titles are not translated or are not fully translated. So, the German title of Bleak House is "Bleakhaus" (haus = house). Maybe the translator didn't know the word bleak neither 😉

Oh, I didn't read the book and have just looked for the German title. So, the houses name is "Bleak House" - that's an unusual name for a house in my opinion.
