Yesterday I almost saw a sunset.

Gestern habe ich fast einen Sonnenuntergang gesehen.

Yesterday it was dry most of the afternoon - at least it did not rain. Although I could not see the sky from the valley, I thought that on a mountain I might once again be able to see the sun and even a sunset.

Gestern ist es fast den ganzen Nachmittag lang trocken gewesen - zumindest hat es nicht geregnet. Im Tal konnte man zwar keinen Himmel sehen, aber ich dachte mir, auf einem Berg würde ich möglicherweise wieder einmal die Sonne und einen Sonnentuntergang sehen können.

I drove to Diex and the whole valley below was beautifully covered by a sea of clouds. Unfortunately, the sky was covered by thick gray rain clouds and the sun was also hidden. Nevertheless, their rays came through small gaps between the clouds and I could see slightly sunset colors in some places.

Ich fuhr nach Diex und das ganze Tal unter mir war wunderschön von einem Meer aus Wolken bedeckt. Leider war auch der Himmel von dicken grauen Regenwolken verdeckt und die Sonne hat sich auch versteckt. Trotzdem kamen ihre Strahlen durch kleine Lücken zwischen den Wolken durch und ich konnte an manchen Stellen ansatzweise Sonnentuntergangsfarben erkennen.

Unfortunately, a short time later the clouds moved up from the valley and within a few minutes all was covered from them, so that the first sunset for many days has been over for me again.

Leider zogen die Wolken kurze Zeit später aus dem Tal nach oben und innerhalb von wenigen Minuten war ich in sie eingehüllt, so dass der erste Sonnenuntergang seit vielen Tagen für mich schon wieder vorbei gewesen ist.

Thank you so much JJ - it wasn't as expected, but I liked the view a lot 🙂

We have still the same weather as the days before, although the weather forecast said, the sun might come out today - I'll see later and maybe I'll search the sun later, as I said in my previous reply ;)

LOL yeah funny ho the weather is !DERANGED and likes tormenting us on Work Days, but for me I am not working this coming week, so maybe we will have rain every day, but then again maybe not i will be busy with family and not have time for taking photos

Yeah, such views are always great, and what I would have loved, was just a bit more of the sun to shine through the clouds, because this would have given a more than amazing sunset light ... there will be a next time 😉

Wenn die Sonne ein bisschen mehr zwischen den Wolken durchgekommen wäre, hätte das einen extrem schönen Sonnenuntergang ergeben, aber leider sind die Wolken vom Tal hochgezogen und der ganze Berg war davon eingehüllt. Nächstes Mal funktioniert es 😉

Ja, 20 Minuten mit dem Auto - und oben im Ort gibt es sogar eine Webcam, wo ich sehe, wie das Wetter ist. Genau deswegen bin ich ja auch hochgefahren ;)

Schönen guten Morgen,

gerade noch erwischt, bevor ich nach Hause gehe - Antworten in der Arbeitszeit machen doppelt Spaß, wenn ich Zeit habe, natürlich ;) lol

Ich hatte in meiner Wohnung auch mal eine Kamera, habe die aber wieder deinstalliert, weil wenn bei mir jemand einbricht, dann lässt er sicherlich eher etwas da, als dass er etwas mitnimmt, und dabei muss ich ihn nicht unbedingt filmen ;)

Gerade veröffentlicht.

Mit dem Kleinen wwaren wir gestern nochmals beim Tierarzt.

Er hat ihm zei Spitzen gegeben, darauf hin ist die Schwellung und Entzündung zurück gegangen an der Pfote.

Wenn es sich aber nicht bessert, dann wäre ein Amputation des Beines eine Möglichkeit, da ziehen wir aber vor das Tier zu erlösen.

Howdy sir johannpiber! That is such an interesting photo, it makes one study it to make sure we are seeing what we think we are seeing. I love that kind. And it is almost a sunset but I don't think almost sunsets count in photography. lol.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not, and sometimes I have to be serious when I'm at work and other people are there or we have a meeting with other companies or so ;)

That's true, and that's how we are doing it since we live here, what means, we are ice scraping since the eighties 😉
The only problem is that we do not have our own parking lot, so we have to search for a free space, what sometimes is not so easy, when there's a lot of snow ... but we are used of that 😉

The bike is in a garage over the winter at the motorcycle workshop where I always have my motorcycle serviced.

Yes, it costs some money, but not much, and they take care of the bike over the winter months.

Right , they protect it, look at it from time to time and talk to it, and they also look at the battery and that everything is ok :)

... and fly to work? We have different languages in each country and I do speak German and English only.
Spain or the very south of Italy would be snowless in Winter, but as said, the language would be a problem and my job and my family, of course ;) lol

I agree. We have the four seasons here, they are just mild. But down South on the Gulf coast of Texas it is warm or hot year round. It's good for the landscapers because they have work all year.

I don't know if I would like the same or about the same temperature or weather all year. I like it, when the four seasons are different as they are here :)

For the landscapers and farmers it is certainly a good thing, I suppose.
