On the road!

avatar

Today I finished packing up my lofts in Atlanta Georgia, put it in the back of a Budget Rental Truck, then set forth to start a new journey in my life.

Here is the last view I took of my loft before leaving.

I left some furniture for the person who will be taking over my loft. :)

As I type this I've been on the road for about 6 hours and I'm more or less outside Charlotte North Carolina.

( side note I asked for a much smaller truck but they gave me this extra big one. The stuff I have fills maybe 25% of it)

Going to be driving till about 2 a.m. and then find someplace to sleep.

How's is your day going?
Have you been on an adventure today?

Hi Tim,

Things are going okay on my end and I like reading about your updates.

I have an uncle who works at https://prama.org/ in North Carolina so it's nice to hear that you are passing through.

Do you have any idea yet as to where you are headed?

P.S. I have packed up my things like you have more than once - One of the times was when I left my things with my friend and joined the U.S. Navy at 17 years old and another time was when I left for the United States with a bag full of things and almost 10 years later.. I am still here (in the Philippines :)

Glad to hear things are going well. :)

Wish I read this while I wag in NC I would have stopped by and have gave him a high five!

For now I am in CT until my sale goes threw, then off to Vietnam for a bit. If so I hope.. Lol.

Sound like you live am Intresting life, excited to have a drink with you one day and hear your story, like how you ended up in the Philippines... Very curious. :)

Thank you for the support too!!

Yeah @jacuzzi - we will be close to each other since Vietnam is only a stone throw away. I think there are a good amount of jobs for English teachers in Vietnam (not sure) since I had a friend from France who moved there to teach English.

Another group of people who started EmpireFlippers.com in Davao City, eventually moved to Vietnam too :)
