Cataratas Del Iguazu

(Edited)

Who has been to Cataratas Del Iguazu ? Iguazu has to take the cake for the most dramatic I have ever seen; and as a travel photographer I have been to a lot of waterfalls (there is a whole section in my portfolio dedicated to waterfalls). We took the boat tour to the bottom of Salto San Martin. You get completely drenched and it feels like someone is pouring a swimming pool over your head.

The shot below is taken standing above the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) at Salto Union.

Its quite a different perspective looking at the side falls from the river below as you approach Salto Union.

Looking straight down the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) .

The Cataratas Del Iguazu (Iguazu Falls) border both Argentina and Brazil.

If you would like to learn a little bit more about my background in photography you can read the interview @photofeed did with me here.

Ahhh - I’ve been there too! 2009-2010 when I was traveling Argentina for 2,5 months. Love the country, full of extremes - from gletsjers to tropical waterfalls :-)
