Abstract Metal Art

Hey dear Hive community and friends of art, first of all I would like to wish you all a nice day and hope you are all well and you were able to make some great experiences! In this post I would like to present one or the other picture of abstract-looking metal art and would also like to go into mythology.

The artist used iron for this work and the ornaments look very abstract and I think bring out the metal art very well. In the past, I have often written something about the mythology and history of the blacksmiths and if you are interested in the history, you will find my contribution here. In ancient legends, blacksmiths were already associated with frequencies and according to a legend, Pythagoras was inspired by the sounds of the hammer of the forge. According to tradition, Pythagoras once visited a blacksmith and quickly noticed the soothing sounds of the blacksmith's hammer and was interested in the harmonizing tones that emerged from it and it gave him the idea to create the monochord.

In addition to Hephaestus, there are other figures in Greek mythology that are assoicated with blacksmithing and are rather unknown and according to legends, the first who worked with metal were the Idaean Dactyls who came from the Ida Mountains and they were often attributed the ability to be able to create magical works and one of their inventions were also the sounds. I find it interesting how many areas of humanity have been shaped by the forges and it has helped shape the cultures worldwide. Following I would like to share two links in which I have already wrote more about the forging in mythology and who is more interested in it will find my contributions here or here.

Very striking are the photos you offer us of the art of wrought iron (we assume, taken from windows and others), in addition to your information on the western mythological character of this practice. Greetings, @elevator09.

There are things that are made with a lot of hard work, the way we see that a lot of work has been done on them.
