| Yesterday's SMS View was a bit fishy. So much fish actually, that I couldn't include all the pictures from that day. | When I was taking pictures for SMS View # 85, it was early in the morning. So, where there was a greater variety in fish species was in the shadow of the quay. Hence I thought the evening should provide a better light & went there again the next day's evening. But ... | Als ich die Bilder für den MBM-Blick 85 aufnahm, war es früh am Morgen. Deshalb lag ein Schatten über den Stellen, wo es eine größere Anzahl an Fischspezies gab. Da dachte ich natürlich, am Abend wäre das Licht dort besser & fuhr am nächsten Abend nochmal hin. Aber ... |

| ... it was actually worse. Probably because I was there too late, the light had not enough energy to penetrate the water enough. The above was the only halfway acceptable photo I could take, & it's just another damselfish, to boot. Well, since I was there, anyway, I cycled along the coast to see what was going on. | es war sogar schlechter. Wahrscheinlich war ich zu spät & das Licht hatte nicht genug Energie, um tiefer ins Wasser zu reichen. Das obige Bild war das einzige, das einigermaßen annehmbare Qualität hatte, & das war noch dazu nur ein weiterer Mönchsfisch. Da ich aber schonmal an der Küste war, fuhr ich ein bißchen daran entlang, um zu sehen, ob es was Interessantes gäbe. |

| Some cats were active. This one was a kitten, trying to have fun while its mother was watching. | Einige Katzen waren aktiv. Dies ist ein Junges, das ein bißchen Spaß haben wollte, während die Mutter aufpasste. |

| Well, watch-resting, or so. Tried to get some pics of them in front of the setting sun, but my flash didn't agree. | Nunja, sie war zumindest in der Nähe. Wollte ein paar Bilder von ihnen vor der untergehenden Sonne machen, aber mein Blitz war nicht einverstanden. |

| Then I cycled a bit further south & turned my attention towards the sea. | Woraufhin ich ein bißchen weiter nach Süden fuhr & meine Aufmerksamkeit dem Meer zuwandte. |

| That boat on the left surely wanted to be in the picture. It sped from the north down south, in front of the sun. | Das Boot links wollte unbedingt im Bild sein. Es raste von Norden nach Süden, vor der Sonne. |

| Then it turned & sped back. No idea what that was good for. (Well, good for some pictures.) | Dann fuhr es wieder zurück. Keine Ahnung, wofür das gut sein sollte. (Naja, immerhin für ein paar Bilder.) |

| Then the sun was setting & just in time I discovered a nice whitish rock, which could be a nice subject for #bouldersunday. | Dann ging die Sonne unter & gerade rechtzeitig fand ich diesen netten weißlichen Felsen. |

| Then the sun was pretty much gone. Which gives me some room for birdy pictures from the day before, when the post became too crowded. | Daraufhin war die Sonne weitgehend weg. Wodurch mir Raum bleibt, ein bißchen zu vögeln. |

| Nice young hooded crow, which let me get close enough for a good shot. But then it quickly decided that I was too close for comfort. After which I went further south, where another young crow made its appearance: | Nette junge Nebelkrähe, die mich nahe genug ran ließ, um ein gutes Foto zu machen. War ihr dann aber doch zu nah & sie flog ab. Woraufhin ich weiter nach Süden fuhr, wo eine weitere junge Krähe ihren Auftritt hatte: |

| Sadly in front of the sun. So, it's not as good as it could be. Then there was a seagull lazily bobbing up & down in the waves. | Leider vor der Sonne. Hätte ein besseres Bild sein können. Dann war da diese Seemöwe, die faul in den Wellen schaukelte. |

| A bit further I noticed another seagull, standing on the coast. | Ein Stück weiter fiel mir eine andere Möwe auf, die an der Küste stand. |

| I rode by looking the other way & dismounted. I got quite close & got a nice shot in: | Ich fuhr vorbei, ohne sie anzugucken & stieg ab. Kam recht nah & konnte ein gutes Bild machen: |

| Usually that would have been it. They don't let you get much closer, usually. But this one didn't seem fazed. So, I looked another way again while moving yet closer. | Normalerweise wäre es das gewesen. Die Viecher lassen einen normalerweise nicht viel näher ran. Aber diese Möwe kümmerte ich nicht weiter. Also guckte ich wieder weg & näherte mich weiter. |

| Not much of a reaction. I was wondering whether it was injured, since the left wing was hanging down a bit. After taking a few more pictures, I moved back out again. | Keine große Reaktion. Ich wunderte mich schon, ob sie vielleicht verletzt sei, da der linke Flügel etwas herabhing. Nach einigen weiteren Bildern entfernte ich mich wieder. |

| From a bit farther away, I looked at the seagull a bit more intensely to see whether it was OK or not. & then it finally took off, anyway. Maybe the attention of a camera was alright, but 2 human eyes focusing was too much. | Von meinem Fahrrad aus schaute ich sie mir etwas intensiver an, um zu sehen, ob sie in Ordnung war. & da flog sie dann endlich weg. Vielleicht war die Aufmerksamkeit einer Kamera OK, aber 2 menschliche Augen, die konzentriert gucken, waren zuviel des Guten. |

Beautiful symphony of photos.
My favorites are those of the boat that goes from north to south and then returns, it is impressive how beautiful the sun looks.

The pictures were only from several days because I had just too much for the post before.
Fantastic pictures. Those of the sunset and the kitties were the bets for me. and that last one with the water hitting the rock and getting frozen in midair was just spectacular.
