Light through the glass and rain drops

A heavy and cold wind as well as constant rain marked this day, I could not go for a walk. I spent all day in the house, checking the weather repeatedly, hoping that the rain would stop and the wind would calm, but in vain! I skipped one day of going out in nature, all day I felt like I was in prison.
I was walking around the house looking for something to photograph, but nothing caught my attention until it was dark when my gaze stopped at glass windows that were completely wet. The light of the streetlights flashed through the glass and water, creating marvelous abstract paintings. I immediately took a tripod and a camera and started that wonderful game of photography.
In the hallway next to the window I set up a tripod with a camera, in the hallway it was half dark, a situation where auto focus was not helpful and I focused manually. To take a photo I had to make a long exposure of about 30 seconds, when possible I always set the ISO to 100 and tonight that was the case.
I spent the next hour experimenting with photography, time was running out, I'm just sorry I didn't come up with this idea before it was still a day, but never mind I'll do it some other time.

I enjoy the composition and colour contrasts... an d overall feeling on #2

lucky you, having tripod you can afford 30sec shutter... I had to operate in the 1/40 -- 1/2 zone... and use 500-640 and even 1000 ISO.
