Mercedes Benz G Class - Off-roading
A friend of mine spend over a year restaurating this 1983 Mercedes G class. He finished it few months ago and we finally managed to get 6 of us together for a short weekend. Off-roading was kinda an excuse for some barbecue and "few" beers. And you can't really do crazy off-roading with few cases of beer in the trunk.

We went for a drive in the largest sand desert in Europe, Deliblato Sande. It covers a total of 300 square kilometers. And it is a hour drive from us so why not.

This photos are taken at Zagajica Hills. We were a bit late to get there and it was almost dark so i can't really show you how beautiful and unique is this place.

Friend did document all the restauration, and we talked about editing it, so maybe i will manage to share that process with you.

Now we are talking! This thing in the 80's racing against Porsche 911's, the Russians on the Nivas or the Brits on the Land Rovers.

it is a very capable off road vehicle. Lada Niva is for sure the cheapest out of the road capable car out there.
That is a cool looking vehicle. Very moody shots, love the colors here.
he did great job on it.
i was not sure about the color when i seen it while he worked on it, but in the end it looks good.
Yeah I actually really like the color. I wouldn't say that is normally a color I like on cars but somehow it works with the interesting profile of this beast :)
