Thrushes - robbers

Guess who's pecking the mountain ash? Meet ... this is a thrush. It is called mountain ash thrush (lat. Turdus pilaris). Until today in the city (St. Petersburg, Russia) there were clusters of mountain ash and no one pecked them. None at all. I even thought that the birds do not specifically touch the berries. They are protected until winter, as an untouchable reserve. It seems like I was wrong. It's just that there were no thrushes in the city. Now they are.
Last year, these feathered robbers chopped all the rowan berries in November. The asphalt was red.

В прошлом году эти пернатые разбойники в ноябре раздербанили все ягоды рябины. Асфальт был красным.
