Glass water

This happens when the night frost manages to forge the surface of the lake. There is frost, but there is no snow. Thin ice is transparent and looks like glass. If pure water is under the ice, then the bottom and its inhabitants are clearly visible. I was not very lucky with this. In our pond, the water is cloudy.

Стеклянная вода. Так бывает, когда ночной мороз успевает сковать поверхность озера. Мороз есть, а снега нет. Тонкий лёд прозрачен и похож на стекло. Если подо льдом чистая вода, то хорошо видно дно и его обитателей. С этим мне не очень повезло. В нашем пруду вода мутная.

Previously, this pond was part of the Nikitinsky estate. From the estate remained a dilapidated house with columns. I have never managed to get into it. The territory is fenced with an iron fence and overgrown with bushes and trees. But the pond itself is equipped, there are paths, benches, you can walk and relax. This is important for the city.

I arrived there early in the morning. The sun's rays walked high while the pond was almost asleep. Strange looked an elderly man lying on ice on his stomach in the early morning. This is how I took part of these pictures.
