Fortress and dark clouds

avatar

I've been staying at home for the past few days because of the whole pandemic situation and will likely continue so for the next week or two. That means less time photographing but I'll use the time to finish other tasks I've been postponing.

This little tour around Kalemegdan fortress was three days ago. It was a cold day with dark grey skies which I tried to accent by desaturating and darkening the blues. It was noticeable that there are less people in the streets. Hope you enjoy these snapshots with Fuji X100F.

I love what you did with the colours for these shots especially the first one. It captures more than just the feel and mood of the sky and weather. It makes the texture of the stonework really pop.

Quick random question. In the first shot of the fortress there is a gate in the corner that enters the tower there. The third shot down from somewhere inside the fortress with the woman walking. Is that shot taken just inside the gate in the first photo?
