Canvas in the sky

Some unpublished shots from about a year ago... drama skies which are what I am missing now

Certainly does look like a canvas in the sky that Mother Nature splashed paints onto, and dabbled her brush over... and left some bold artistic streaks across it!

Well, that is what I feel when looking at one of these 'creations'...

I won't comment much today... Just enjoy!

Everything starts just as the sun sets...
As soon as the dark shadows come in, then the colours start getting intense
Amazing what light play upon the clouds can do...

Almost 20 minutes later, the scene ends as dramatic as it started
I might even like this better as the dark gives it a better contrast
I've always gone for deeper contrasts anyway
