Park of the lake of dreams: Chinese garden at Montreal's Botanical Garden.
Photos from a beautiful day at Montreal's Botanical Garden. There's an incredible section of the gardens modeled after a Ming dynasty Chinese garden, with sapphire-blue waters, aesthetically pleasing trees, and buildings of traditional architecture.

The garden's protector. The characters mean "Park of the lake of dreams". I think they must be read from right to left, as was the case for ancient chinese: 夢湖園, méng hú yuán.

The lens is a Sigma 24mm f/1.8 (sadly without a polarizing filter, which would have been useful on that sunny contrastless day), on a Sony a77 camera.
