The Science Month Celebration has just started in Anselmo A. Sandoval Memorial
High School. This year’s theme, “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for
Sustainable Development”. The year’s theme also focuses on the following goals,
Food Security, Energy and Environment, Aging Society, Health, and Medical Care,
S&T Human Resource Development, Equity and Growth in the Countryside,
Biodiversity and Sustainable Use of Biological Resources, Sustainable Cities and
Communities, Resilience and Innovation,and International Linkages.
The Science Department of AASMNHS spearheaded by Loryfe A. Manalo HTIII
Science Department Head, conducted the following activities: quiz bee,photo essay,
slogan making, poster making, pic-collage, photo gallery and sci-bingo.

The photo gallery contest is for grade 11 and grade 12 students, all STEM classes.
The photos submitted should adhere to the prescribed design, namely; images should have a dslr effect, with images related to the theme, the equipment and program used for editing, and relevant statement that supports meanings to the entire gallery, and the images should be printed in a A4 size photo paper.
The submission and judging of photos was conducted 1:00 pm on Tuesday,
September 10,2019.
