Point & Shoot LargeFormatPhotography: My New/Old Grand Camera

For years I have been dreaming of a large format SLR Camera; just now the prices are skyrocketing, but I was happy to find a good and affordable one. This might be the main camera for my next series of portraits and snapshots.

Here you see the results of the first test; shutter seems to be right on time,
and only a minor light leak. This means I am ready to go!

Thank you very much for your kindness! I am afraid this camera is too heavy and big for me to handle! I am used to picket size camera like Canon IXUS.

I will have a look out for this one in shops in Bangkok! Very curious about this!

MY CONGRATULATIONS !!

i hate this silly prices skyrocketing trends so much. how the thing that costed 10 yesterday, may cost 100 tomorrow? why??! wheres the Karl Marx blessed theory of surplus value? RIP...

ps. sorry to say but I didnt enjoy these test shots too much, esp. in terms of quality xD (maybe its a lack of post-processing?... idk. its not a critics, just my feelings). dont hate me for speaking straight.

!BEER to damppher my words

It's people having 'a good idea', like renovating these old cameras, then making a business out of it, and buying all cheap cameras. First step is good, 2nd is greedy...

I totally understand that you are not happy with the quality of those shots; they have been for test purposes only (focus, exposure/shutter, light leaks), and have been photographed from the negatives with my phone... so yes, terrible quality, but I am super happy as now I know it's all working.

It inspires me to finish my lab (which is a huuuge project), so I can do proper stuff with this amazing camera. In colour.

Always happy about your open critcs; it is a rare thing, and it shows much more interest than the usual 'Great Pic Bro!'.

ah! light leaks, and photographed from the negatives with my phone... <- that summs up all about it. I am sure I will appreciate others better!

Just give it/me some time; 3-4 weeks and everything will turn fine art ;)
