Love is in the air!

in photo52 •  last month

Illustrating abstract concepts is always a challenging task and this week's Photo 52, 2020 Challenge theme is as abstract as it can go.

I googled the word just out of curiosity and I ended up with a screen full of red hearts and a few snuggling couples. Not what I was looking for!

I am trying really hard to think outside the box but nothing good comes up!

Maybe a bee and her love for work?

Nah, I don't think so.

Maybe a couple on an exotic scenery and their love for vacations?

No, it's a bit of a stretch.

Maybe a table filled with appetizing dishes and the love for food?

Nope, I don't like that either.

Maybe a newborn plant and the love for life?

Kind of like this one but I still don't think that it's my best shot.

What about a book on the beach and the love for reading?

Nope, too stuffy.

What's the matter with me? Is it possible that I haven't taken a single shot that expresses love in an original, indisputable way?

Actually I think I have one. It is my late dog Morpheas, with his loving cat-friend Kiko. This amazing little cat showed so much love and affection to this old dog that is beyond reason. I mean all our cats were sleeping snuggling around Morpheas during the night but Kiko practically lived on the dog for the last 2 months of his life. Day or night he was there, a comforting presence, an absolutely selfless expression of pure love.

All the pictures and the words are mine.

I know that I have already posted those pictures in the past in various posts but I am on a transition period, just like steem, or tron or steem-tron or whatever :)

Dawwwwwwww! I'm such a sucker for dogs and cats. I've nursed one cat back from the brink of death - twice - as a kitten, and my wife did the same with another kitten (we still have them both). And they both love the dog.

That said, you're on to one of my sneaky plans; I want to see how the community handles vague concepts to improve my own photography! 😂

Thanks for the great post!

Haha! So you do have some sneaky plans, after all :)

Thanks for the motivation!
(Actually I was thinking to stop posting for a while until this tron thing becomes more clear but I hated the idea of missing on of your themes)

Now that just made my day! Thank you! 😊I'll admit I was debating what to do over the weekend, too, then decided to just plug along. If we need to make changes we'll make them after we have more facts. We've got a great group here!
