Who is a Philosopher? [ENG/PT]

• It seems like every field of science 🧪 is a derivation from the love to knowledge 📚 .

The best way to understand any field of sciences is getting truly involved on it.

I have always had this impression. All the existent ideas nowadays, appeared from an instigated curious mind.

There was electricity involved.

Consider the origin of the word philosopher:

- Lover of wisdom; the one who loves to seek knowledge.

Although I highly recommend watching the video, I will briefly describe it’s intro here so you can have an idea of what I’m talking about:

According to Mr. Jason Reza Jorjani, PhD,:

“The various empirical sciences have disintegrated from out of philosophy. To the point where Philosophy as a distinct discipline has been construed as an analysis of linguistic meaning, an analysis of the propositions used in various specialized sciences..."

Mr. Mishlove, the host, adds:

- “It’s almost a subdivision of logic, or something”

Mr. Jorjani agreed, because this new kind of knowledge, separated from its roots, let day, is

• “handmaiden of the sciences, as it were.”.

That was just the very intro from 39 minutes.

I could not agree more with that.

Remember: the very word philosophy is means the “love of wisdom”.

And what happened in the world of sciences nowadays was a betrayal of that.
Just think about all the effort made today towards the fulfillment of pure greed and shady intentions.

Lembre-se: a própria palavra filosofia é significa "amor à sabedoria"
